  Conception to Installation, fantastic experience My first experience with Jon and the initial survey gab=ve me great confidence in the company and products, I signed almost right away. Decided to install 12 panels and a 15kw stack system . installation day came and i was so impressed with the teams professionalism and standard of work. The subsequent advice and support from Craig has been brilliant and my system is fine tuned on a great tariff as advised I am so impressed all round and no hesitation to recommend Greenstar Solar

  Excellent service from the team at Greenstar Solar. We received a detailed solar and battery system proposal that was tailored to our home and electricity usage, which was competitively priced and had no unnecessary extras to inflate the cost. Since then everything has gone smoothly, with lots of communication up to the day of install. Now that the system is installed and commissioned we have already seen a dramatic fall in energy consumption from the grid and a significant proportion of our solar generation is being exported. The handover documentation pack and follow up call was very useful, as is the continued support from the team whenever we need to call on them. Highly recommended.

  Great service provided by everyone I've spoken too. Jon was great initially doing the survey. Jack in particular being very patient with all my questions and very willing/helpful to chat and discuss everything I required. Tobias has been great with responding and providing me with the documentation I needed. Then finally Craig has been great getting me set up on the system and ensuring I understood what it could do and how I could optimise my profit potential. Would definitely recommend to others and have been actively doing so on reddit etc. My system is a 27 panel, good we 13kwh battery, 10kw invertor. Best price on the market but great quality all round

  We recently had a 17-panel solar system installed by Greenstar Solar, along with a Sygenergy SigenStor inverter and battery, and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. What really stood out early on was the level of detailed technical advice we received before installation. The team took the time to explain system design, expected performance, and how the inverter and battery would integrate with our usage. This gave us real confidence that the system was tailored properly to our needs rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. On installation day, the panel fitting team were professional, efficient, and clearly took pride in their work. The panels were installed with great care and precision, and the finished result looks neat and well-aligned on the roof. Just as importantly, they left everything clean and tidy, which we really appreciated. The electrician who handled the inverter and battery installation was equally impressive. The wiring and setup were completed to a very high standard, and everything was clearly explained to us once the system was up and running. It’s obvious that quality workmanship is a priority for the whole team. There were a few minor obstacles during the installation process, but these were handled quickly and without fuss. The team communicated clearly throughout and resolved everything efficiently, which made the whole experience stress-free. Overall, we’re extremely pleased with both the system and the service from Greenstar Solar. A highly professional company delivering quality work with great attention to detail.

  From the very first quote to the final check-in, the Greenstar team has been absolute legends. ​We did the usual thing and got three quotes, but Greenstar stood out immediately. They were the only ones who actually came to visit us in person! They explained everything in plain English, gave us solid options, and—best of all—there was zero "salesy" pressure. ​The actual installation was a breeze. Scaffolding, panels, and batteries were all sorted and gone within a single week. They even took the time to walk us through the app and followed up later just to make sure we were happy.   I recently chose Greenstar for the installation of my solar panels and Goodwe home battery system, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The solar industry can feel like a bit of a minefield, but with the faster return on investment—especially now that I have an EV—I felt it was the right time to move forward. To truly benefit from EV tariffs, having a home battery is essential so I could avoid the higher standard rates that accompany them. Before making a decision, I did extensive research and received quotes from five companies, including 2 large energy companies. What set Greenstar apart immediately was that they were the only company to carry out an in-person visit for the quote. Jon is a credit to the company, he was extremely professional, focussing only on the best solution for me and pricing was transparent. That personal touch made along with a very competitive price made a big difference and gave me confidence right from the start, especially given the scale of the investment. The installation process itself was excellent. The scaffolding and panel installation were handled professionally and efficiently, and everything was completed to a high standard. The post-installation support has also been very strong. There was a minor issue with one of the components, but Greenstar took ownership and worked with GoodWe to have it resolved the very next day, which was impressive. It’s now been about a month since the system was installed, and everything is running smoothly. The app is intuitive and makes it easy to monitor battery status, household consumption, and grid usage. I’m already seeing a clear positive impact on my daily energy usage and export credits, that supports the repayment period being aligned to their proposal. If I were to offer a minor piece of constructive feedback, it would be around customer continuity. At times it felt like I interacted with multiple people throughout the process. While I understand this can be unavoidable given different roles within the company, having a single consistent point of contact would enhance the experience even further. That said, this doesn’t take away from what has been a 5-star experience overall. Every individual I dealt with still provided excellent service, and I would highly recommend Greenstar to anyone considering solar and battery installation!

  Very impressed with Greenstar. Initially Jon was my contact he visited and quoted for the job. I'd had several other companies quote over the years but I felt that he was honest and helpful and genuinely wanted to give a good job at a reasonable price. He even offered to clear my garage on the day of installation! That would just have been too embarrasing. The fitting team were incredibly hard working, the 19 panels were in place with any interference, all completed and tidied up in one day. After that Craig took over assisting setting up and getting on the right tarriff, I couldn't have done it without him.

  Absolutely top work from a great team. Fantastic communication throughout, they prefer to visit personally rather than design the solar kit remotely - I love this approach. The installation looks fantastic and my house was left in great condition after the install (I found a single zip tie when clearing up!) Now the kit has been in for a month, it’s been working brilliantly throughout and I can already see the difference in my energy bills - even in January
