  I have been on a journey to create an energy efficient home for sometime, with the installation of a Heat Pump being the final element in the project. Having had a couple of failed attempts with the UK’s largest energy provider due to the complexities of fitting the pump to an older house I looked for a local specialist. Worth noting that prior to installation, to maximize the efficiency of a heat pump I had already installed insulation, solar panels and a battery system, therefore I was looking for someone who really understood my goals and challenges, Tom very much met these requirements. He conducted a very detailed analysis of of the house to establish the buildings heat loss, this in turn guided the size of the pump required and the best system setup, it cannot be over stated that a correct system design is everything if you want the heat pump to deliver its best performance. Tom made an excellent job of this and was so enthusiastic about getting the design right. He is extremely tidy and diligent in his work and was able to work around challenges that arose such as the fitting of a new hot water tank in a very limited space. Lastly and most importantly, Tom is really enthusiastic and interested in the subject and wants his heat pump installations to really preform well. If you are looking for someone who really understands the subject and can help you get things right then Tom is the man to go to.

  Without any doubt the best. Thomas of Asset Plumbing & Heating installed and commissioned a new combi boiler just 24hrs after my initial contact. Price quoted was excellent and the workmanship and attention to detail was excellent. A few extra little things needed doing and were carried out within the quoted price. I have had a lot of experience with installers and service engineers over several years and can say wholeheartedly that I wish I had known about Thomas sooner. 100% recommend to anybody that needs any plumbing or heating requirements.

  Gave Tom a call when our boiler stopped working and he came to have a look just 2 hours later. Unfortunately, it was beyond repair but Tom came back 2 days later and installed a new Viessmann boiler. We are very pleased with it and Tom made everything clear and easy to understand. He also kindly let us borrow a couple of heaters to keep up warm until the installation. Highly recommended.

  Last Thursday our 20 year old Worcester boiler failed & was beyond economical repair.We got an acceptable quote for a replacement from Asset P& H (Thomas) & expected to face a few days without a boiler.However Thomas said he was booked am Friday but could come to us around lunchtime & , if acceptable to us, work into late evening to complete the job.By 9.00 pm we had a fully functioning system so many thanks Thomas for your consideration & a professional neat & tidy installation.Highly recommend Asset P& H.

  I highly recommend Thomas. I required him for an emergency call out late in the afternoon of New Years Eve. He was with us within 2 hours and kept us up to date on his location. He managed to fix the problem within the 1 hour call out charge and used the remaining time to provide a general health check of the boiler. Thomas clearly knows his stuff and I will be using him again in the future.
