  After being told by couple of other solar installers that it wouldn't be possible to have solar panels fitted to our roof and garage Russ came round and was the only one to get his ladder out and measure the roof properly and said it would be possible. Its now been up and running for 3 weeks and working better than i expected. Russ was always quick to respond to any questions i asked him on WhatsApp and kept us informed of dates and times (scaffolding deliveries, etc)leading upto the installation. I had no issue with the installation with all the work carried out as i would expect and everything cleared up when he was finished. All the certificates were sent through promptly on completion. I will have no issues having Wave Renewables back to carry out any other work and would definitely recommend Russ to anyone else thinking about having any solar or electrical work done.

  For anyone thinking about Solar panels, I can thoroughly recommend Russ. From the initial informal chat about my requirements and Russ’s recommendations through to installing the panels, battery etc he was excellent. After sending a quote by email, there was no pressure from him at all. Very neat and tidy, friendly and polite. All applications and paperwork etc were done for me. He has always been available for any questions, before the installation and has helped with a couple of problems (user errors) with the app, since the installation. I am very pleased with the installation. Finally, he was actually cheaper than the online quotes I received and didn’t require any advance payment/deposit. So, my advice is, stop thinking about it and contact him now.

  I would not hesitate to recommend Russ to anyone. He came to give us a quote on a solar system with a battery back in late December. At that time we were having frequent power cuts and due to health issues required a reliable power supply. By Christmas week he had fitted the solar system with a backup battery; with the panels being installed later in the New Year. A Christmas Day power cut locally was only a short message on the Tesla app for us. All our energy concerns have vanished and at a reasonable price. Russ has been available to help with the whole ‘ off grid’ process; making the whole experience stress free.

  Russ was the only person to come up with a practical and lower cost EV Charger solution for our new hybrid car. Definitely not a standard instal given the meter and garage locations. He offered practical considered advice completing the job efficiently and effectively and at a very competitive price. There was a 4G connectivity issue which Russ followed up with Ohme, the EV charger supplier, resulting in replacement of the unit under warranty. Like the initial installation the replacement instal was completed quickly and effectively. His help and advice in linking the vehicle, Ohme and utility company Apps was very well received for what seemed quite complex to a novice user. Everything is working as intended. A great find and a good guy for the job.

  Fantastic service. Very clear communication and advice over what is possible. On the two days of the installation, messaged to give start time and what would be done each day. Cleaned up very well. Explained the system in simple terms for a new user and has been available since install for the 2 questions I had. Totally recommend Wave

  Russ installed 15kw battery storage system for us to . He came to quote and made us feel comfortable with his knowledge and professionalism. Kept us informed all through installion and was extremely neat and tidy through out . Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and use again.
