  Gary and his team installed a fairly large domestic solar system at our property, including batteries and a gateway to cope with power cuts etc !! The install was done during the winter and they worked in all weathers to get the job done. Gary kept us updated throughout and sorted the relevant paperwork with the power company. He was flexible and modified the job according to our requests. We would definitely recommend Gary and use again in the future.

  We recently had solar panels and an EV charger installed by Steel Electrical Services and couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. From the first quote through to completion, everything was handled professionally and efficiently. The team were friendly, knowledgeable, and kept everything clean and tidy throughout. They took the time to explain how the system works and made sure we were fully set up with the monitoring app before leaving. The quality of the installation is excellent and it’s already making a noticeable difference. It’s great knowing we’re saving money on energy and charging our car more efficiently at home.   After months of promises from Ford and Octopus to fit a home charger for my new E Transit i finally gave up and called Gary. He came same day to do the survey and fitted the charger the next day. Really neat job. Would highly recomend.

  We first used Steel Electrical last Autumn to fit a Hive thermostat. Gary (the business owner) and my husband started talking about solar energy and the rest, as they say, is history! The process started with a home survey and the subsequent report and quotation was very comprehensive. As we were having quite a substantial array, we did have to get approval from Northern Power, but Gary submitted all the paperwork on our behalf. The panels, the battery and associated gubbins were installed this week. Gary and his colleague, Dean, were punctual, professional and very polite at all times. They were respectful of our property and tidied up after themselves at the end of each day. Once the system was commissioned, Gary explained how to use the app that monitors the energy generated and stored in the battery. We have been very impressed with the service we have received from Gary and would have no hesitation in recommending Steel Electrical.

  Would highly recommend Steel Electrical Gary and Dean have recently completed electrical works at my home, including rewiring, new switches and sockets, and installing new light fittings. Gary and Dean kept me updated with everything, always polite and just got on with the job. The work looks really neat, paying attention to detail and made sure everything was tidy afterwards. All very reasonably priced jobs and invoices are itemised. I would never use anyone else for electrical work in my home. Gary also completed rewiring and new lighting, spotlights, cupboard strip lighting for my new kitchen, which I was also over the moon with. Thanks Gary and Dean 😊
