1We had quite a lot of work done through Next Energy. The process was disruptive, but we were warned of this and expected it. What we did not expect was frequent no shows, days taken off work for nothing, badly managed projects, no plans shared, people turning up unannounced to do work, damage to our home that has not been repaired and the state our house has been left in. Our main issue was with agreements during surveys not being adhered to. We had a hybrid heat pump/boiler system approved and a surveyor visited to inspect and design the layout. It was agreed where the heat pump and boiler would go, and that they need to be close to each other for efficiency and to minimise pipework. Installers on the day refused to position the boiler where we agreed and warned of a fine/bill for materials and equipment if we refused work. The result is massive amounts of piping and ducting in our back yard, which looks horrendous. The pictures are the finished result, which they think looks fine. Besides that, the heat pump wasn't set up properly and didn't work. They did come back and fix that, but I had to finish commissioning it myself by reading the manual and watching YouTube videos as the installer didn't know how or couldn't be bothered. We complained to Next Energy about the piping/duct work and they refuse to rectify. The insulation work and solar was done to a good standard, but I'd avoid if you can. The complaints and escalation procedure on their website is also wrong. The financial ombudsman is not the correct way to escalate, it's the dispute resolution ombudsman and Trust Mark who can help.

1If I could rate this company no stars or even negative stars I would do so. From start to finish the whole process has been stressful and not worth the hassle. They have caused numerous amounts of damage that took weeks of complaining and calling to resolve. The damage was only resolved when threatening to report them to the energy ombudsman. From the very rude condescending project manager Steve who I’ve actually told them never to send to my property again, to the office staff there is absolutely zero communication or organisation. Saying they will turn up and don’t. Installing the equipment where ever they please. Asked me to fully empty my loft to install the equipment turned up with paper work saying equipment was to be installed in loft to then say we are installing the equipment outside leaving awful not level conduit all on the external of the property after specifically specifying I do not want conduit on the outside of my house. You only need to look at the reviews of the company to know what you are dealing with here and I would AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! Waited weeks upon weeks for the paper work to come back all the while producing power being fed into the grid for absolutely nothing back as you can’t get payment back without the Installer paperwork. Absolutely no information given about the system and how to use it or any mention of even contacting your energy supplier and absolutely no explanation of the app that goes with the system and how to link it all up. Please do yourself a favour and take your custom elsewhere and save yourself the hassle that everyone else has had to endure.

1This company instaled solar panels, but not a single person during instalation before instalation or after instalation mentioned that they will only work if they have been registered with national grid. 2 years of solar panels energy lost. Not to mention that they wired them from atic to inside house then outside house and back in to the house where meter is. It is one wall, why not just send wire outside and in. Post company answear: I contacted company just after work was done to put things right. They out right refused to change anything except fill holes next to wire drill holes where wind was blowing dust true. And when they came to inspect work, company had a second opportunity to let me know that I need to register solar panels with national grid, they didn't. I appreciate that company monitors reviews, but asking customers to get in touch for second time after going public to fix things is pointless. This review is solely to let other potential customers know what to look out for.

5From the start to end the process was plain sailing. From the initial guy who came to measure and take photos and explain time lines and processes, to the guys who did the installation i couldnt fault there proffessionalism. They were pleaseant and polite and respected my home. They worked non stop. Truly a credit to themselves and your company. Keep up tbe great work.

1Absolutely shocking! Don't know who is worse, the office staff or the contractors!! Didn't have the tools for the job, shoddy work that has to be changed. Destroyed and damaged the few things I had in my loft. Don't stick to arrangements made even though you book time off work, so when you refuse anything else done after repeating yourself for the 50th time they want to take the hump and start giving attitude. Manager was then passed on who was just as bad as his staff!! Yes I was rude to them because there is no communication between any of them! Manager did offer to resolve the whole thing but I declined because he too was just like the rest of them
