5We had a great experience with our home solar and battery installation from Coactivation. The Project Manager Alastair scoped out a system for us to optimise our available roof area and provided a detailed proposal showing what we could expect to generate across the year. Having decide to go ahead, the installation went very smoothly, with all the equipment delivered and scaffolding erected on the date agreed, allowing the roofer/panel installer and electrician to complete their work without delays. We were shown how the system operates and given a full handover pack including the MCS certificate which is required to apply for Smart Export Guarantee (SEG) payments for any excess electricity put onto the grid. Because of the size of the system, it was also necessary to obtain a G99 authorisation from the network operator (DNO) and again, Coactivation took care of this for us. The system was installed at the end of January and even throughout the short overcast days of February we enjoyed "free" electricity during the day and after sunset from the excess stored in the battery stack, which means of course not having to buy electricity from the grid. Coming into the longer sunnier days in March we are already exporting on most days, which all helps towards payback on the installation cost, especially as energy prices continue to rise. Overall very happy with our system and would recommend Coactivation as a competent installer.

5A very professional company that keeps you informed all the way. They discuss all your needs and what you are going to need from the system, i.e. do you have electric car? Do you want to store any of the electric? You are sent all the necessary information via email to let you know exactly what you’re getting into. The installers were very professional and the complete install including fitting the batteries was all carried out in under a day. Couldn’t ask for more.

2Had an Coactivation inspector (I'm assuming, he told me they didn't issue him ID) come to my home to inspect building work. He wandered into every room in my home with muddy boots on. I had to clean my carpets. I sent an email to complain, it wasn't answered, just ignored.
