  Bruce came and done an air conditioning install for a young man with complex needs this week, in two rooms. The turn around in communicating with Bruce to having the work completed was a matter of days. This was done quickly and has worked brilliant. We have a very happy young man. Tidy company that knew exactly what to do. We will also be having our yearly service with them. Would recommend highly.

  I recently used this electrical company in Colchester to carry out EICR inspections across several of my HMO properties, and I was very impressed with the service from start to finish. The team were professional, punctual, and clearly very knowledgeable about the requirements for HMO compliance. They arranged the inspections efficiently across multiple properties and communicated well throughout the process, which made things much easier for me as a landlord. All the EICR reports were completed promptly and provided in a clear, well-documented format. They also took the time to explain any observations and recommended remedial works where necessary, without any pressure. Overall, a reliable and professional service. I would definitely recommend them to other landlords in Colchester who need EICR testing or general electrical work for rental properties.

  Bruce came and fitted our EV charging point this week. He arrived promptly within the time frame given. Was very professional throughout and cleaned up after himself. There were a few issues with connecting the charging point to our WiFi but Bruce sorted this himself, even calling customer services to make sure it was all active and working well before he left (the connecting issue was our fault, not anything to do with the installation of the charger but he still sorted it) He also entertained two nosey four year olds who were desperate to know what “the man” was doing and if that drill was really his 😂 5 stars, would recommend! Personable, friendly, professional and prices are extremely reasonable.

  I’m based in Colchester and have been trying to find a good electrician that I can trust to complete an EICR on my property, following a bad experience with another company. After initially speaking with Elise for a quote, I felt at ease and comfortable, and the booking process was really simple. For the appointment I was given a tracking link to see the arrival time of the electrician. Bruce carried out the EICR, he was really friendly, personable and talked me through the process. I received the EICR certificate before Bruce had left my property, so there was no waiting for the certificate which would likely have taken days or even weeks to receive from another company. I would and will 100% recommend choosing Future Smart for any electrical needs. Thanks again!

  Super service from booking to job completion. Bruce was both professional in doing the work - fitting a new fuse box, adding a new plug socket, fixing a light fitting - and with taking care to leave everything clean and tidy. Would definitely book again if required.
