1I wish i could give less stars... Absolute joke of a company... No customer care at all, they don't care about the well fair of the customers or personal choice... Say they will turn up at 12, they turn up at 8am... I expressed many many times that I suffer with anxiety so I need rough estimate of arrival, never stick to it... Like they don't have a planner or anything.... Some jobs I didn't even want doing but they have "funding" to gain... They make a mess but who's going to fund me when they make this mess? Poppycock of a place

1Never call you back. Deny ever being in my house, even though have been here 3 times doing surveys. Have called 5 times in last week to be told, someone will call you back.Tradesemen are great, but office staff and so called project manager are a joke, still waiting on someone from management calling me back. Stay well clear of these cowboys. Still waiting on Mick calling me back , he told me 2 weeks ago he would call me right back. Communication is very poor again

1Built a ground floor extension for my disabled daughter Poorly project managed from start to finish Some staff good but a general culture of bad practise in there chosen profession's Multiple issues throughout every stage with multiple damage to existing property just thru neglect and unprofessionalism particularly regarding flat roof which they had to rectify but really didn’t know what they were doing, eventually roof was replaced by a competent company. It was suggested by management at Broadoak I had sabotaged the roof in an email chain I suspect I wasn’t supposed to be part of and the guy in question told council authorities he would sincerely apologise for this personally but that must have being lost in the post. Fire standards not an issue for project manager with no thermal bridging to roof rendering it 13degrees colder in the extension(in summer)and happy for platerers to board over cavities around window frames having no fire barrier, was left to me when project manager wouldn’t question roofers work leading to irate roofers and an awkward atmosphere on site! Heating and cooling of plumbing makes excess noise in the extension meaning we can’t have the heating on in the night because it disturbs sleep and is a general nuisance, 2 suggestions of fix from Broadoak, neither of them actually addressing the issue and is ongoing A lot of excuses like “project managers told us do it” “Building control has signed it off” and my personal favourite “didn’t use essential materials because they weren’t on site” I have been asked to sign a form so they can proceed to get paid from council but as a life long tax payer from a family of hard working tax payers feel like this is the kind of company that makes Britain not great anymore and hope by reading this review you will avoid lining the pockets of this company, I would be happy to sign forms at this point despite noise of plumbing if the whole experience wasn’t so dire

1We had a heat pump system and solar fitted by this company last July and we have had problems. We complained to our housing association as it lost pressure due to a pipe joint not being fitted correctly. It took a while due to holidays the this morning it failed again and water was pouring in to our bathroom. I am not lodging a complaint via our housing association and going to request all pipe work be replaced. Having no heat or hot water is no good for my wife and I especially when outside temperatures are -3. We will see how long it takes!

5EMERGENCY!!! Is there an emergency number that actually works??? Since last night (Saturday) no one has picked up the emergency line and our new heat pump cylinder has exploded gushing out water and now our house is a lake. I’m pretty sure a new system shouldn’t do that. Please if you see this help! EMERGENCY!!!!!
Owner's reply
Hi Lewis, thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we’re sorry for the stress and frustration this caused. We completely understand how worrying it is when an emergency line doesn’t appear to be answered as expected. We’re glad to confirm that your emergency calls were picked up shortly after, and we believe an engineer attended the property yesterday to assess the issue. We have also been in touch again this morning and have arranged a further appointment to ensure everything is properly resolved. Thank you for your patience, and please be assured we are taking your concerns seriously and will continue to follow this up until it’s sorted.

1Wish I had read the reviews before letting this cowboy outfit into our house, work started April, it is now November still waiting for completion our Heat source pump ate 53 KW yesterday, time and time again I have asked for them to check the fault, a 3 bedroom bungalow should be 10 KW they sent an electrician who admitted he was not qualified to investigate. On their web site they say they will respond within 24 hours. I had to email or phone numerous times with no satisfactory replies. The original carpenters were woeful and following several complaints with photographic evidence it was rectified. The plasterers were nice guys and did a good job plastering, however, they left live electrical sockets with exposed wires hanging out from the wall for 2 weeks and between them and the plumbers everywhere was covered with thick dust which required a deep clean. I recently had to ask if the boiler had been commissioned, in an email back they stated I had been given all the commissioned documents including the Warranty but they overlooked the fact that none of the document they attached to their email had my signature which is required by law. I am now sending all the emails and photographic evidence to the Ombudsman, MCS, and Tecnika, and please Broadoak, don't patronise me with your worthless reply of "Sorry to hear " etc "we will investigate" etc "please contact us" etc They have caused myself and my wife stress and utter frustration and is ongoing,

1Edited to add. The date is now 16/12/25 and the ventilation still hasn't been done. Can't even get through on the phone line as despite being number one in the queue, nobody can answer it. Not happy with the service at all. The first day they showed up with a broken drill and just disappeared after an hour. Two days later another guy came to fit the ventilation, but obviously nothing could be done because the insulation wasn't fitted. Then didn't hear from them for two weeks. Then someone randomly appeared at my door for an appointment that was never booked. Fitted the insulation. Weeks later, I'm still awaiting the ventilation. My windows now have condensation on the inside. And then I find out they've told the council the work is complete. Absolutely useless, do not recommend.
