  Caveat Emptor The following text is a real account of my Partner's experience with Transcrew Heating & Cooling Technologies on Tues 17th February 2026 Her Ideal Logic combi boiler which is less than 3 years old (Oct 2023) had been only heating the rads in her property, it was tripping out when hot water was being called for. So, she rang Transcrew (Monday 16th) who said they would send an engineer round to take a look, he arrived on the following day (17th) My Partner again explained that the rads were getting hot, but no domestic hot water. After a very quick examination of the boiler,(opening the drop down panel) he diagnosed that a new boiler was required.He talked about a ground source heat pump, but my Partner said she just wanted the boiler fixed. He then started to take an interest in her gas cooker, asking questions about it's operation etc He then left and said he would send a quote to her email address, on the 18th February a quote arrived by email for the grand total of £3222.80p to replace the boiler, see below Over the next 2 days my Partner received telephone calls from Transcrew saying they had a 'window of opportunity' to fit the boiler on Friday 20th February. She searched and found the paperwork from the installer who fitted the boiler in Oct 2023, she discovered that the existing boiler had a 10 yr warranty, she rang Ideal, who then sent an engineer to examine the boiler on Saturday 21st February, he discovered that the Magnetec filter was blocked to the boiler, he isolated it, ( he discovered it was full of black thick gunk.) He replaced the magnetic filter with a new one. The boiler was restarted and was running fine on both hot water and rads, the whole process took him less than an hour, the bonus being Ideal charged nothing for the call out or the remedial work. These are the facts as to what happened.   We recently moved in to an old property with electric heaters and no gas supply to the house, I reached out to Transcrew to enquire about an Air source heat pump and spoke with Joe and he was very knowledgable and helped me come to the decision to get the ashp fitted. After speaking with Joe on a Friday, we made the decision to go with it and he had a team at my house that next Monday morning starting installation. The team that fitted the ashp and all new pipe work and radiators were fantastic. Graham, Weston and Ben are all very knowledgeable about the system, great tradesmen and were very happy to answer any questions and thoroughly explain everything that we asked. After installation, there was a couple of problems with the heat pump itself (no fault of Transcrew or the installers), but the team identified the issues and resolved them straight away. We couldn’t be happier with the service and I would recommend these guys to anybody who is looking to install an ashp to their home. A very good company, from a very happy customer!

  Transcrew installed our solar panels recently and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. The team were professional, punctual, and explained everything clearly before and during the installation. The work was completed efficiently and the system was set up neatly with minimal disruption. We're really pleased with the result and would definitely recommend Transcrew to anyone considering solar panels.

  Our heat pump installation was okay but not the smoothest. Everything is working, time it took was fine and price wise fair. But the communication was problematic. The installation was happening while we were away and we got back to a cold house without getting any notice about that beforehand. They also did not tell us that they couldn't do the placement of hot water tank on one side of a cabinet -which we agreed on- but took up all the space. We counted on using half of the cabinet and are still struggling to arrange furniture in that room due to that. One more thing was a mis-wiring of a Homely smart control. It was easy to change but took a couple of days to figure it out and we did it ourselves in the end to not delay having everything set up any longer. Overall, an honest, good company but communication is not their strength.

  Given this was my first time choosing a Company to install an AirSource Heat Pump it was not easy however I was delighted with this Company. Before i signed their contract an open discussion was had and their Team were simply great. Edward (Alfie) & Brad were Rock Stars, being concientous and overcoming any concerns with a truly professional approach. Delighted with the Installation and cannot recommend enough.

  Had a heat pump fitted for me for about a month ago, staff are friendly but remain professional. Very good after installation checks ✔️ to make sure everything is running smoothly. Easy to contact and ready to help. I will recommend Transcrew all day every day.
