  Installed our heat pump; they explained the system fully, made multiple home visits and made a recommendation that they then explained again — we were going from gas boiler to heat pump in a Victorian terrace so it was a big shift for us. They worked with us to minimise disruption and kept helping us after install to make sure the system would work for us. Zero hesitation in recommending them!

  We're so pleased to have found Econic Energy after searching high and low for a good heat pump installer. It's so important to find the right company (another company / installer had let us down badly before and we wasted nearly 18 months with them back and forth...). From the start to the end of the process, Christoph, Pradeep, Jay and Andrew have demonstrated they really know how to do this well. Communication has been excellent, really responsive, very organised from the start to the finish. We found we were well-supported throughout. Econic helped with sorting out all that was required, including the home assessment (including an EPC certificate, which was live on the website within hours of Andrew's very efficient and comprehensive visit/heat loss survey - the full report was shared with us), the £7.5k government grant, MCS certification etc. Pradeep and Andrew helped us decide what we needed, which included replacing 6 radiators, an old (leaky) hot water cylinder, and choosing to install a Samsung 12kW heat pump and a 10kW battery. The installation team, led by Jay turned up promptly every day at about 8am and were polite, thoughtful, efficient and tidied up after themselves. They always did what was right, even it if meant they had to go the extra mile/spend a little bit longer, and the pipework is all beautifully neat and tucked away/insulated etc. We have had to have the odd hiccup fixed (our battery/solar panels setup wasn't quite right and didn't communicate initially), but Christoph and the electrician Ramin helped make sure that was all done and sorted within a few days. In many ways, knowing that a company can resolve issues is key - it's rare that everything goes exactly to plan! We appreciated the personal touch, including responsive emails / telephone calls, and an excellent handover in person and all the documentation etc. Very happy with our gas-free hot water, the battery is charging brilliantly on a cheap Octopus night-time tariff and from the solar. We also love the Fox and Homely apps, and are looking forward to a warm and cosy winter! Couldn't recommend Econic energy highly enough, they install a lot of heat pumps now, and their experience and knowledge shows.

  What a brilliant process from start to finish. Despite having to install in a very tight cupboard with complex old piping in awkward places. The installation team knew everything needed to find a good plan and it was great to see the final results being so tidy! Clear information provided at every step, support and guidance available whenever you want, with checkins and follow ups to ensure things are progressing as planned. They go above and beyond to give a good solution and the gave me some great ideas about how to install the heatpump with as little disruption/mess as possible (whilst improving its efficiency - none of the other people quoting did this). Installation now finished and signed off, and performing well. I cant see why you would ever pick another company.

  Econic were fantastic from start to finish. Cristoph did his best to meet my very tight budget, Andrew was fantastic with the heat loss calculations and spent a great deal of time recommending insulation options. Pradeep is so knowledgeable and put me at ease with my underfloor heating installation and how it will work with the heat pump, even spoke to my installer to make sure all connections were up to standard and done correctly. Lastly and not least, Jannie who led the installation team was a superstar, even remedied a slight issue with the UFH to make sure everything worked as it should. They completed work to a high standard and the installation was very tidy. I had a tough time with my renovation, but this element of it couldn't have gone smoother, even with my indecisiveness, Econic were very accommodating and offered advice throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend using this company. Trustworthy, reliable and great value for money when compared to other quotes. I have noticed an immediate lowering of my electricity bill and the fear I had of whether the house would be warm or whether we would have enough hot water were unfounded, even had to turn the temperature down! Overall a great experience and will be recommending them to friends and family who are considering going down this route. Thank you!

  A big thank you to the Econic Energy team for the installation of my heat pump heating system. I have a Victorian house in North London that I have spent several years renovating. A few years ago I put solar panels on the roof with a battery storage system. The last remaining major project was removing gas heating and going all electric with a heat pump heating system. It took several years and several attempts to find a contractor and heat pump system that were well suited for the retrofit of the Victorian house. I was very pleased with the Econic Energy team, having by far the most knowledge for what heat pump system would fit with my house, how it should be installed, and how it could be installed efficiently with minimal interruption to the house. The team executed the project in less than a week, and the system is now working well. I am happy to recommend the Econic Energy team, and encourage others to pursue heat pump heating system retrofits for their own houses.

  I have just had a heat pump and battery installed by Econic Energy, and am very happy with them. From my initial enquiry to Christoph, the installation went quickly and smoothly. Andrew was very helpful when he surveyed my house, and the people working on the job were friendly and kept disruption to a minimum. Everything was left immaculate at the end of each day. Pradeep has been particularly helpful with all my technical queries.

  Econic installed a heat pump and battery in my home, and were very helpful and good at communicating the process all the way through. Despite a little hiccup with getting the battery commissioned (not their fault but that of the battery manufacturer), the system is all set up and works well. I’m looking forward to seeing how much the winter’s bills will now come down.

  After talking to many companies about changing from my gas boiler to a heat pump, I selected Econic as they clearly understood what was required and were very knowledgeable. The survey and instalation were exceptional. All my concerns were answered and the tradesmen were the ultimate professional. Post instalation there have not been any surprises. Can't wait for winter to see how the heat pump performs - currently I'm just using hot water, all working well and it's very quiet.

  Christoph and His team, were very professional and Knowledgeable, from initial contact to survey and installation. They continue to monitor the system remotely . They are very approachable and respond to your concerns in a timely manner. The installation team were tidy and polite, you are given a pre daily plan prior to installation. I would highly recommend them for heat pump installation.
