  MAElec have successfully completed many diverse jobs for us, demonstrating broad and deep skills, knowledge and understanding. They have tackled the common electrical tasks like replacement of light fittings and switches. But also the less common tasks. They added a battery to our Solar PV system, replaced MCB’s with RCBO’s on our consumer unit (to eliminate RCD tripping) and performed a very thorough EICR on our old bungalow. The greatest quality of the team is their tenacity and perseverance to resolve issues that had defeated other electricians in the 6 years since we moved in. For example, we inherited an armoured cable in the garden but only MAElec found where it entered the building which means we can now use it. They made an external PIR floodlight on a lamppost work reliably for the first time. They found a light switch that was not working due to incorrect wiring, and they discovered consumer units MCB’s incorrectly labelled, explaining why our TV amplifier never worked. The team of amiable electricians worked hard, achieved everything they were asked to do, and they always kept us in the loop. They are now our first choice for doing any electrical or Solar PV work.

  Matt helped us out with a no electricity crisis post-Christmas, post-storm on night of 27th December - sorted the problem straight away the next morning. He was actually on holiday, but still came out. Such a star!!

  Matt has done a number of jobs on our site from upgrading electric meters to installing new lights, advising on heaters, etc. He is very responsive and clear with advice. He's our preferred choice for all electrical work.

  Matt has worked wonders for us today - he completely changed the lights in the kitchen and sorted all the new wiring needed for the new kitchen appliances. A minimum of fuss, very efficient, polite, and with a charming manner - the list goes on and on. I knew when I met him he'd be good - and I have not been disappointed at all.   Matthew installed a new consumer unit and rearranged all of the house wiring which presented a major problem for our garage being converted to a living room. A junction box was positioned where the entry wall had to be removed. This required the box being repositioned into the attic. This was done professionally and very neat and tidy. Installation of four internal double plugs and two external waterproof double plugs. Also light switches and overhead lighting installed. Matthew also installed an aerial socket, coax cable and a TV booster for the room. An Excellent Professional and very tidy job at a competitive price. NEAT AND TIDY WORK. HIGHLY RECOMENDED

  Matt wired in an electrical towel radiator element and recessed a light switch. Tidy, efficient job completed. Reasonable rates. Very happy and would definitely use MAElec in the future
