  Nick was great! From the very first meeting we knew we were in safe hands. He was very professional, knowledgeable and able to advise us on what was best for our usage and fairly old house. The installation went very smoothly, thanks to Nick’s pleasant demeanour and willingness to work alongside lots of other trades people on site. He clearly takes pride in his work and is willing to go above and beyond to establish good customer relations. His installation is top quality. He is a tidy considerate professional. If you need solar, Nick’s the guy you want to do it. We have had solar installed before when we lived in Hertfordshire and the process with Nick was at another level. Really really good.

  We had such a great experience with Transition Solar. We had an incredibly thoughtful and thought provoking first meeting and survey coupled with availability for further questions. We always felt Nick was there for us to guide and advise us but without any pressure to chose one solution over another. Installation was great.   I had a great experience with Nick handling the installation of my roof solar panels. His practical advice on what I needed and his careful approach to placing the panels, inverter and cables made made him stand out from the competition. He was punctual and communicated well throughout the process, and it was clear that he took a lot of pride in his work.   Nick did an excellent job of inspecting our existing PV system, replacing our faulty old inverter and installing a new battery system. We had moved into a house with malfunctioning solar panels so had no idea about PV systems etc. Nick diagnosed the issue and explained all the options available to us, he was also very patient as I repeatedly changed my mind regarding what we wanted installed and where I wanted it put, and he explained the pros and cons of different installations. He even lent me his humidity monitor so I could test if our garage was suitable for it. When we requested that he also install a housing around the battery, to keep the kids away from it, he went above and beyond and made a beautiful pine enclosure (I assumed he would install a cheaper MDF enclosure). He worked quickly and cleanly and was a joy to have around. I would highly recommend.
