  I contacted Ed when my solar panels needed to be removed and replaced for a new roof. He gave me a contact for the removal which was completed quickly but then the panels were replaced by the builder. But after the inverter showed an error and us not able to work it out Ed kindly came out to look at it. Amazing service as he called within 4 hours , and 15 minutes later all was running fine again. It was something simple we had overlooked but left us puzzled. Really appreciate the fast and friendly service and if I upgrade my system after the FIT agreement runs out I wouldn't hesitate to use Temple Solar for the job.

  We recently had batteries and solar panels installed across all three of our House of York Holiday Homes properties, and the whole experience has been outstanding from start to finish. From the very first conversation, the pricing was clear, fair, and highly competitive, with no hidden surprises. What really stood out, though, was the amount of thought and care that went into the planning. Ed took the time to understand each property individually, worked through the best configuration for every house, and made sure the system would deliver maximum long-term value. The installation itself was executed brilliantly. Everything was completed exactly as promised, on time, and with a level of professionalism that gave us complete confidence throughout. The workmanship is excellent, the properties were treated with real respect, and the disruption was kept to an absolute minimum — which is especially important for holiday homes. It’s rare to find a company that gets the pricing, planning, and execution all right, but Ed and his team genuinely did. We’re delighted with the result and would wholeheartedly recommend Ed to anyone considering solar and battery installation.

  First rate. a) I have a character property and I now have some terracotta-coloured panels that work really well. b) The scaffolding company were super-efficient and well-organised. c) The results are as advertised. d) Really nice to deal with. 10/10 (or 5/5 if you're Google).

  Summary: Cost: fair (I would stay with temple solar even if they were more expensive) service: excellent professionalism: excellent time scales: as communicated communication: excelent Post install assistance: excelent Ed was amazing. He went above and beyond in every capacity and we couldn’t be more greatfull. With solar installs on the rise we were constantly falling into the trap of finding installers who would promise a massive discount and then simply raise their prices so it turned out to be more expensive relatively. The difference with Temple solar is that they are a brick and mortar building in York with a solid customer base. Ed even took me to one of his past customers who had a similar set up to that which I was looking to install. He coordinated every step of the process and you really got the sense it was a family business with a reputation on the line. Thank you Ed and Temple Solar. I will likely be upgrading soon and I won’t go anywhere else.

  I was put onto Ed from Temple Solar from a plumber friend of mine because I was thinking of installing solar with batteries etc. I have now had them installed and could not fault the quality and service provided by Ed and his team. Ed went out of his way to help us get everything set up correctly, far beyond where he had to go. Would highly recommend Temple Solar to anyone thinking of investing in solar panels.

  Fabulous service at a great price. Ed couldn't have been more helpful. Even their electrician turned up at the weekend after I had badly fitted the inverter "no charge". Couldn't recommend them enough. Thank you Temple Solar.

  I got three quotes for a fairly large homePV system and of the three Temple Solar was the best. Ed Frost was extremely knowledgeable and inspired confidence right from the start. He oversaw and organised all the installation work and the necessary communication and documentation with Northern Powergrid. Ed and his team worked extremely hard even giving up a Sunday to complete the installation when illness had disrupted their schedules. Ed was extremely responsive and helpful throughout I can’t imagine a better level of service. I am extremely pleased with the system which is everything Ed said it would be. I cannot recommend Ed and Temple Solar highly enough.
