  Used SAF for full heating system change plus heat pump install and really glad we did. Great interaction all the way from design to post-care. Cara in the office was super helpful. Steve and Alex are really professional and friendly - plus great expertise and a phenomenal work rate! They were able to cope with some tricky install bits, but also adapt to our wishes and timings. Finished product installed exactly to quote, great workmanship and looks fab. Highly recommend.

  Old boiler died, in freezing cold weather. Steve visited swiftly for a site survey. New boiler fitted shortly afterwards. Steve & Alex were excellent, very professional & knowledgeable. We were impressed by their clear explanations and attention to detail. Very punctual, efficient and hard working. Safe pair of hands! Thank You

  When Steve and Alex from SAF come through our door, we know we'll get great service from a couple of people who really know what they're doing and really care about doing a good job. We feel sure our boiler and radiators are in good hands. Thanks Steve and Alex for doing such a great job for us!

  We're so pleased that we chose SAF to carry out a full upgrade of our central heating system. From the first contact with the Company through to the completion of the installation, everything ran like clockwork. Within days of an initial enquiry a survey was carried out, detailed quotations followed the next working day, and a date was agreed for the work to commence. Throughout this period the information from the Company and the whole communication process (all managed by Cara) was exemplary. Once on site Stephen and Miles worked quietly and efficiently explaining exactly what they were doing as they went along. At the end of each day they ensured that all redundant material was removed from the house and every day they cleaned up before they left. The new installation is fantastic and we felt that the cost offered excellent value for money. Without hesitation, we would strongly recommend SAF Plumbing and Heating; they are a highly professional, friendly and knowledgeable business, and demonstrate the highest standards across all of their operations.

  We have used SAF Plumbing & Heating for well over a decade, and have always been extremely happy with the service provided. Stephen and Miles are professional, personable, and efficient, offering clear explanations of what work needs to be done and why. When it came time to replace our old boiler, Stephen clearly outlined all of the options, and provided a reasonable quote with no hidden costs. The installation process involved minimal disruption, and the end result is a fantastic, energy-efficient boiler. SAF removed all of the materials, and even repaired the brickwork from the previous flue, doing a superb job. I highly recommend SAF, and will continue using them in the future.

  Will only accept payment in advance even from long standing customers. And will only accept bank transfer. No cheques, no cash, no payment by card. So if you are elderly and don't use a computer or online banking, this is not the plumber for you. Edit: Their response is somewhat at odds to the fact that they refused to even make an appointment until they had received advance payment even though they knew the customer was vulnerable and elderly, and that their only option for that advance payment was bank transfer. They refused my offer of advance payment by debit card or cheque, so how they now claim they do accept payment other than by bank transfer is beyond me. Perhaps the person on the phone was "confused". And yes I did go ahead as I was desperate to get the heating back on for 93 yo mother. Never again.

  Hi Peter and thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear that you are not happy how we operate however I would like to correct and also add to how we attended your mothers heating problem. Firstly, we do accept cash and bank transfer only, we have accepted cash from your parents on previous work. We take payment in advance to secure appointment bookings. You were aware of this and still chose to continue to use our service. On our last visit you mentioned you were not able to drive from Grantham to Nottingham and repressurise the boiler hence contacting us, and on that same day we attended to the the boiler issue making this visit a priority due to the age of your parents. I must express our concern as the boiler does require parts and worries us that your elderly mother may be left cold. We take great pride with our customer care on how we operate especially attending to the elderly & vulnerable and appreciate not everyone has access to internet banking. Please don't hesitate contacting us if your parents need further assistance, we would be happy to help.

  Steven carried out the domestic installation of our New Hybrid Heating System . His knowledge, expertise and workmanship was First Class . On top of that both Steven and his team , Miles and Ollie were all punctual, polite and highly professional. We would Highly recommend this Excellent Business .   Steven carried out some emergency (residential) plumbing work for us after a heating pump developed a leak. He attended at very short notice and quickly solved the problem, diligently and with great care. Very professional. Would highly recommend.
