  Great service! Matt was brilliant getting back to me and communication was top notch. He and his colleague helped to reinstall our solar panels within a day. They did this effortlessly and explained the step by step on the process and aftercare. I highly recommend them!

  First-rate. We chose Staffs Smart Energy for several reasons. Local knowledge, local contacts, and a greater choice of panel sizes to fit our particular roof as opposed to the standard one-size-(sort of ) fits all offered by the big boys. The beauty of choosing Matt was also that you knew that the job was not being subbed out to a fitting team which might , or might not, have the experience. The placement of the external cable was an example. Matt kindly offered to route the large black cable through the walls as opposed to clipping them on to an external wall for an unsightly effect. For another company this aspect might not even have been discussed with us, and the chances are that we might have been left with an installation which may have been technically correct but which may have been disappointing to look at. As it is the whole process went efficiently and well. The house was left spotless. The specification we actually received exceeded that of the corporates , in that we had 10 panels for 5 kWh plus of capacity on the roof , whereas the corporates could only achieve 4kwh for the same 10 panels. I could go on , but suffice it to say that we will be asking Matt for another quote this week for the rear.

  We had our solar panel system with batteries installed by Matt recently. His attention to detail is amazing, he is meticulous and conscientious in his work. Took time to understand our needs and answered our many questions! We are delighted with our new solar system and please do not hesitate to consider Matt for your solar system, we recommended him 100%.

  Matt was helpful from start to finish with our solar install. He helped us understand what we needed and even help overcome an issue with scaffolding that needed to be on a neighbouring property. He also rerouted our EV charging cable that had been left looking unsightly on the front of our property. He ensured that the work that was needed on the neighbours side was completed quickly to enable that scaffolding to be removed. Both myself and my neighbours were grateful for this. His work was meticulous, the cabling so neat with the majority being barely visible. He turned up on time and kept us informed of progress. We’re really happy with our install and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Matt and Staffs Smart to anyone who is after solar, EV chargers or general electrical work. Also to give a shout out to Sam and Michael who assisted Matt - they all worked well and did an amazing job. Thank you so much.

  Matt fitted 10 panels and 2 5kw batteries with a 6kw inverter. Excellent service. Professional and always paid attention to detail. Always engaged us on best way to fit and route electrical cables. We are so pleased with what has been completed. Would always recommend Matt.

From the initial consultation to the final installation, everything was handled with professionalism, expertise, and care. Matt, Nick, and Joe were a fantastic team – friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly efficient. They installed solar panels, a wall battery, and an EV home charger at my property, and the whole process was seamless. The quality of workmanship was exceptional – everything was completed to a high standard, with real attention to detail. They took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions, and left the place spotless when the job was done.   Recently fitted a Hypervolt home 3 charger and upgraded my consumer unit. Matt was very proffesional and did excellent work, even though on removing the old consumer unit had to put right issues found from previous work carried many years ago. I would highly recommend this freindly & very professional buisness. I will use again for any electrical work and also Solar or Battery Storage should I choose to switch. Thanks Matt was a pleasure to meet you.
