  I asked SGKC Electrical Ltd tackle my PV System which the installer Greener Living had been trying to install and commission for over 2 years before they were forced into liquidation after I called NAPIT in and who inspected my unfinished and unsafe installation and produced an 8 page summary report on the faults with my installation. My problems didn't end when Greener Living went into liquidation as practically every PV installer who I called in to rectify/resolve the installation either refused to quote or said they wouldn't touch it with a barge pole .... that was until I came across SGKC Electrical Ltd. Out of all the companies I have asked to provide me with a fully working and properly installed PV System SGKC Limited was the only company who listened to what I was asking and then provided a number of potential solutions to meet my needs/requirements. Practically all the other companies just told me what they would give me, not what I wanted, just what they wanted me to have. Both Shaun and Geff, of SGKC, were very approachable, knowledgeable and listened to what I needed rom a PV System. SGKC considered a number of options and in the end the most effective solution was to remove the unsafe installation and install a new AlphaESS system with inverter and a 10.10 kWh battery storage. After agreeing the price and a date for SGKC to remove the potential death trap of an installation and rewiring and installing a new consumer unit (which had also been broken) they managed to complete and commission my installation within 1 day. My 2+ years of living with an unsafe (and documented unsafe by NAPIT) and a potential fire hazard of an installation was over. At last I had a PV system which was not only more efficient it also provided me with a far better solution than any of the other companies who did actually tender an interest to provide me with a working PV System. The operation of the PV System was clearly explained and so was the mobile phone App and the App on the Internet. I immediately noticed a favourable improvement of my PV system with the AlphaSS system which I have found easy to use and adapt to my day to day needs. I have no hesitation in recommending SGKC Electrical who professionally installed my new PV system in a speedy, methodical and expert manner. They treated my home as a home and not a building site and they left no mess and they only left when they were satisfied that my system was working correctly.   Very knowledgeable people and clean and tidy workers. We went through the options and I ordered the best system for my needs as advised by Shaun and Geoff. My first full month in December has already amazed me as I didn’t get onto the correct tariff until the second week. Comparison from December 2022 Electricity = £253 Gas = £195. December 2023 electricity = £97 gas = £126.56. I have an electric car hence the high electricity costs previously but now charge it during the Octopus cheap rate between 00:30 and 04:30 as well as my 10kw battery. Roll on the sunshine. Very happy so far.

  SGKC Electrical installed solar panels and a battery for me recently and I was impressed with their knowledge and the quality of the work. Purchasing a solar system for your home is a big outlay and you want to be confident in your installer. Shaun took time to explain the system, provide a detailed assessment of the system he recomended and kept me up to date with delivery and instalation progress. The wiring and Libbi battery are neat and unobtrusive. Shaun installed the app on my phone so that I can track power generation and see how the system is performing in real time. I would recomend SGKC to anyone considering installing solar panels on their home.

  Shaun and his team were very professional and did a very neat solar panel and battery install. They also changed my old consumer unit for an up to date RCBO unit with surge protection. Shaun has been a pleasure to deal with, knowledgeable and very responsive to texts and emails. I highly recommend and will use SGKC again for any electrical work.
