  I would highly recommend M&F Group. David and his team provided excellent guidance on the best battery and solar solution for our home. The necessary paperwork was explained clearly, and all work was completed to a high standard with minimal disruption. David has provided ongoing support since the installation and is always available to answer questions regarding the system and energy tariffs.

I am glad that you are delighted with the installation, as are we, and that you are seeing the immediate savings now that you are grid-charging the batteries off-peak and running the entire property with them. Thanks for uploading an image of the installation as it is always better coming from the clients than cherry-picked by us. (For the more eagle-eyed viewers of this post, this particular image was taken before we added a wee bit of white trunking between the units to hide the battery DC cabling!). The new Solar PV arrays look stunning with the Viridian in-roof system and the myenergi zappi EV ChargePoint rounds of the myenergi eco-system nicely. I look forward to checking back in after 1-year to see the annual total of your savings. It was a pleasure working with Dickie & Moore Ltd. at your HQ in East Kilbride, and we hope this is the start of a great working relationship between our two companies. M&F Group strive to have as professional an office set-up as Dickie & Moore; we were blown away by how professional, welcoming and stylish your offices were. This is our largest installed Viridian Solar PV array on an office building to date, and Viridian were delighted with the quality of our installation during their visit to site. Aesthetically, the array looks stunning; you made an excellent choice opting for the in-roof array. The Fronius Verto PLUS 20kWp Inverter installed was the first one to be installed in Scotland, as that inverter is brand new on the market, and the Fronius Reserva battery storage unit, also brand new to market was our first installation, as previously we coupled the BYD battery to the Fronius inverters. So, all in all, an outstanding project, and notched up many 1st for us. A great experience all round. As you can see from the Fronius Solar.Web APP, the installation is performing well, even for this time of year, and I cannot wait to see the performance from it in Spring and Summer.   I contacted M&F via their online contact page on their website. I received very prompt response via telephone which resulted in requested job being done on day of enquiry. Fantastic service from beginning to end and very happy with results. Robbie completed job quickly , professionally and I would definitely recommend and use M&F again.

  M&F group were recommended to us by a neighbour and have installed our solar panel system very professionally and all the guys were superb. Special thanks to project manager David Walker who organised the installation and to Ian and Barney who did a wonderful job. Solar panels were installed by John and Matt. A great team.   Good afternoon, Jeff Thank you for taking the time to leave us such a positive Google Review. This is very much appreciated and something that we live and die by, so thanks for the lovely comments. It was a pleasure to work with you and Liz, and we are delighted that you are so happy with our services, and that you are seeing the saving racking up now that you are ‘off-grid’ for the majority of the day. We have been discussing the energy usage back and forth between us, and it makes me smile that another person is now addicted to the APP!! As you know I check in several times per day, and I will do this over the coming months to ensue that there are no wee glitches etc. Let me know as soon as you get onto Octopus Intelligent Go (probably after 4 weeks of being on the Standard Tariff) and I will pop round and take you through the settings for grid-charging off-peak. You also want to sign up to Octopus Outgoing (as well as Intelligent Go), so that you are getting paid for any export to the grid. We can further discuss all of this when I visit next. Work carried out timeously and efficiently ,and, more importantly IMO. the assistance with after sales guidance and education in making the best use of the equipment was , and continues to be invaluable

These are very important to us, and it allows potential customers to get a feel for how things would go if they chose us to be part of their Renewable Energy journey. Positive comments like yours enable potential customers to choose us with confidence and we really do appreciate you taking the time to leave it. It was a pleasure for us to install your 15.36kWp myenergi libbi battery, and then to come back to add in a 7.12kWp Solar PV array, alongside the existing 4kWp array, along with a myenergi eddi hot water diverter to send any excess energy into heating the water. The process to do all this, including the G99 Application took a bit of time, due to the DNOs being rather sluggish(!), however, it was all worth the wait and the system is running like a well-oiled machine! As always, I will check into the APP at our end daily and as always, please keep messaging me with any questions you may have. It’s very valuable for us to get these questions as this is how we learn and understand the system operation. All the best for now, from all the Team at M&F Group (Scotland) Ltd.

  Throughout the whole process David Walker was most helpful and cannot be faulted for his customer care and attention to detail. Immaculate installation and 20kw batteries up and running and we can already see the grid usage dropping rapidly.

I am glad that you are delighted with your installation and that you can already see the savings. With that system, you will draw very little grid-energy between the months of April and September, and then you will grid-charge the batteries through winter at the off-peak cheap rate on your Octopus Intelligent Go rate, providing the electricity for the property at a quarter of the normal rate. It will make a huge difference to your running costs. We did have a wee glitch with the commissioning, which is unusual but can happen, however, ourselves and myenergi were falling over ourselves to get it addressed rapidly, which of course we did. This is one of reasons that you pay a bit more for top-quality kit and top-quality installers. I look forward to catching up with you soon and as always, I will monitor the system daily for the next few months to ensure all is well.   M&F Group were not the first company to quote to me but I was persuaded by the openness and honesty of their approach to a complicated (to me!) bid. From the beginning they were transparent with the payback calculations, the pros and cons of different specifications and the likely timescales for the job. The installation was faultless and completed ahead of time by a thorough and dependable team who responded well throughout to biscuits. The system has now been up and running for almost 2 years, self consumption of electricity is ahead of predictions at 75% and overall consumption from the grid has reduced by 50%. The ongoing support from David to get the best out of the system and identify the best tariffs has been exceptional, including the subsequent fitting of an eddi power diverter to also heat water and reduce our gas consumption. I would have no hesitation in recommending M&F Group for any renewables and heating work, large or small.

Your installation was our largest at that point in time: 24 PV Modules, 2 Inverters, 16.56kWh of Storage Batteries and all the data network to go with it and it was a great stepping-stone for us to have the confidence to design, install, commission and monitor larger scale systems, that nowadays are just second nature to us. I am delighted that you can now see the annual savings are just as predicted and you are enjoying a dramatic reduction in your energy bills.   From start to finish our Solar Panel installation went so smoothly and professionally. I should not say finish as our Consultant still keeps in touch to ensure we are happy with everything and to assist us with applying for our tariff from the grid, updates to our system etc. Now known as Solar Dave, to our family and friends! We have no hesitation in recommending the company to anyone.
