    Inefficient and heavy handed in my opinion. MWe were contracted by managing agents to do an EICR for my let property. They did it and did not get paid by the agents for many weeks. I approached them to try and settle the debt bypassing the agents. I was under no obligation to do so. They were reluctant but I persuaded them to deal direct to ensure they got paid. The EICR they produced was invalid and I spent a lot of time with the agents and then MWe to get a valid EICR. To my mind the EICR is a very important document to protect me from litigation should the tenants have an accident. In light of that I asked MWe for a reduced invoice to compensate me for my time and trouble. MWe went nuclear threatening me with legal action. I think they did this as it was easier to take on an individual than to take on the agents. Also I raised a query and was promised a response by a certain date. The deadline passed and I had to prompt them to deal with it. I am very disappointed with MWe

    Thank you for your feedback Mr Stevens. We are sorry to hear that you were unhappy with your experience. For clarity, MW Electrical Services was originally instructed through the managing agents to carry out the EICR works at the property. Following non-payment through the managing agents, you requested to settle the invoices directly with ourselves as property owner, which was subsequently agreed. During the process, an amendment to the EICR was required. Once brought to our attention, this was corrected and the updated certification issued accordingly within the hour. We appreciate that delays and communication issues can be frustrating for all parties involved. However, the invoices related to completed works and remained outstanding for a prolonged period despite repeated requests for payment. As with any business, where invoices remain unpaid, we are required to follow our normal recovery procedures. We are pleased the matter has now been resolved and wish you all the best moving forward.

    MW services provided excellent services to us in our flat in Bembridge and went far beyond their original estimate as there was a significant amount of additional work. 1: They quoted promptly unlike other electricians and their quotation was accepted. We paid 50% deposit. 2. They arranged a convenient time for us and arrived as planned. 3. Some additional work was identified and agreed with us. 4. They finished promptly and invoiced us as expected. Additional work was reasonably priced. Overall they performed very well and I would recommend them to others.

    We had an urgent electrical problem and Matt sent Dan to our home in less than an hour. What a truly fantastic likeable man he is.His depth of knowledge was remarkable and he quickly identified the problems and corrected the faults very quickly.MW deserve there accreditation and we highly recommend them.

    Had an EICR completed for a rental property and the service was excellent. The inspection was thorough, the report was clear and easy to understand, and communication throughout was spot on. Reliable, professional, and good value – would definitely use again.

    MW Electrical Services provided an excellent service, from the very first phone call, to the engineer leaving the job. I was particulary impressed by the personable service offered by the receptionist, who made great efforts to provide an electrician at short notice and to communicate our difficult to find location. The electrician, Dan, was obviously an expert and located and repaired the fault almost immediately. After this impressive experience, I would highly recommend MW Services and fully intend to make them my 'go to' for the future.

    I called Matt at MW Electrical Services to come and repair the wiring on a 3 way switch. I had done incorrectly ! He popped over just the next day and completed it all efficiently and smoothly. I was really impressed by this excellent service. It’s virtually impossible to get small jobs like this done quickly on the Isle of Wight and it made a very refreshing change ! Thank you Matt.
