  DON'T USE THIS COMPANY - If I could give this company less that one star I would. They were happy to take my deposit and left me waiting for 1 year before fitting my system, never answering the phone. After the install It didn't work due to them wiring it up wrongly. Another 4 months and I contacted the manufacturer of the system who asked me to send photos of the install. After they saw the photos they told me the install meant my warranty was in-valid and it needed rectified asap. They removed Halo Renewables from my account and assigned another company to recify the issues. The 'mediatory' company Halo use are NOT independant and will not be neutral. Awful company, save yourself the stress and use another one.

  Absolutely outstanding company. Matt was very effective getting the quote across to us and explaining everything, we found them to be very competitive and knowledgeable.   Completely flawless from first call to final installation. made a call - received a quote within 10 minutes. I had already researched and they were very competitive. I asked questions on various models and the advice he gave was straight forward and honest. went ahead with his recommendation, everything was e-sign - nice and easy - and then 4 weeks later (as they have to commission with electric company or something) got a call to install and they came and installed and tidied everything up. very professional, very friendly, unbelievable they offer such great service. I feel very confident if there is ever a problem these guys will come back as it is clear they care about the customers thank you again.

  We had a number of quotes from big energy companies and some smaller local ones and Halo came in at a great price and with a better quality and higher spec product which was exactly the quality of product I was looking for. After a quick chat with Mathew to add an EV charger and gateway we agreed on a very reasonable price. A date for installation was booked in all relevant paperwork was completed by Halo. Scaffolding put up efficiently 16 solar panels were fitted and connected the the battery exactly where I wanted it and the full install was done in an afternoon and morning. Once paid all documents were emailed and I was good to go. I decided to add a 2nd battery after a few days and the next day it was installed. At every stage the whole team have been faultless and I will definitely recommend to friends and family and have been asked about the solar benefits already. Thanks for an excellent experience.

  Do NOT deal with these people. Seriously, stay away. A couple of smug, self-satisfied guys who think they’re the smartest people on the planet. Zero care about actual customers. If something goes wrong, and it will, good luck getting any help. You’ll get exactly ZERO support. Instead you’ll hear a million excuses why it’s YOUR fault, why they’re “super busy” and why they literally cannot do anything for you. Meanwhile they’re happily taking prepayments from the next wave of naive suckers who haven’t read the reviews yet. Save your money and your nerves. 0/10.

  We had our solar panel and charger system installed in July by the HALO team Now it's November, I feel I can do a review! Firstly we had to bring the installation forward due to an issue on my side as we were going to be away on the dates we agreed. Matt and the team fit us in so it was all complete before we went away so that was great. The team who did the installation were all lovely- from the scaffolding team to the electricians and the panel installers. I work from home in a quiet village and felt safe with all of the workers around the house and going into the loft etc. Installation was smooth and the system worked and we were really happy with it all. A couple of weeks later we had rain and I noticed an issue with the overflow. We also noticed that our system was tripping and we were concerned. I did have to reach out a few times and chase which caused me some concern especially with the cost of it all. Brad the brilliant electrician and another chap came out after I was given his direct number and was an absolute star. Brad found the issue with the overflow on the pipe - it was blocked leaves and then he reviewed our set up and they tightened something and we have had no tripping ever since with the power system. We are overjoyed now! I think the fact that I had to chase is because they are busy company and coordinating lots of activities but my one comment to them is to follow up and check how it's all going- a bit more aftercare. We found that up until recently the solar is paying for itself -so from July to November no energy bills. We are now seeing a bill but it's well over half the cost of the usual bill for this time of year. I would recommend Halo, they were all lovely, especially Bradley who did fix the issues we reported! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

  Big thanks to Halo Renewables, Peterborough. Four weeks post-commissioning and I’m delighted with their installation and the performance of our system, a 23 panel (2 strings, bird-protected) array and, from Sigenergy, 2 x 8 kWh batteries, a 10kW Energy Controller and EV Charger. All stages of the process went very smoothly, from my initial enquiry thru online quote, on-site survey and installation, thru to handover. Mathew was always very prompt to respond to my questions and their use of electronic docs and signatures really kept things moving along. Nine weeks after first contact the install was completed by 3 people, all worked as quietly and tidily as you could hope for, and kept external cabling to the absolute minimum. The modularity and neatness of the SigenStor is a real leap forward from the 18 month old ‘multiple-boxes-on-the-wall’ GivEnergy setup of a mate of mine, also satisfactorily installed by Halo. Now looking forward to seeing how it works out for us over the winter months.
