  Unfortunately, my experience with Start Solar has been extremely disappointing. From installation onwards, the solar panels have not worked correctly, despite multiple call-outs and repeated attempts to have the issue resolved, 2years later issues remain unresolved The after-sales service has been very poor. Once payment was received, communication and customer support significantly declined. I have logged numerous calls and spent extensive periods waiting for follow-up, often with little to no update provided. There appears to be a stronger focus on securing new sales rather than supporting existing customers experiencing ongoing issues. I also felt there was very limited guidance provided around the installation process and what to expect afterwards. I would struggle to recommend this company based on the level of service received.

  Great service from the day of installation to post-installation, had an issue with re-installing the app when I switched Internet provider and Ryan's team arrived up at the house and sorted it for me without any issue. Customer care at its best 👌

  Recently had Start Solar install solar panels at our house and couldn’t be happier. The entire team was incredibly professional, efficient, and friendly throughout the process. The workmanship is first-class, and they took the time to answer all of our questions and get everything set up perfectly. If you're thinking about going solar, I recommend them.

  We recently had solar panels installed and were extremely happy with the service from start to finish. Andrew and his team was professional, knowledgeable, and always happy to answer any questions/ queries we had . The installation was completed efficiently and to a very high standard. The whole experience was thankfully, stress-free. Andrew and the team take pride in their work and genuinely care about customer satisfaction. We've already noticed the benefits and would highly recommend Start Solar, to anyone considering solar panels.

  Start Solar are definitely recommended by me to anyone thinking of saving on their energy running costs. Installing a tailored system for your home is a wise investment of capital with greater returns than conventional savings accounts. I’ve had my system installed over a year now with great savings and complete trouble free operation throughout. I opted for 13 panels and 5kW battery storage with excess generation returned to grid for credit payment. From March to October I am completely self sufficient in power with reduced grid supply through the darker months which has given me a net gain overall the year of over £800. My projected payback for investment works out at just over 7 years. So overall I’m very happy with my decision to invest with Start Solar in reducing dependence on fossil fuels, and contributing to sustainable energy targets to create better outcomes for future generations.

  Susie came to my house within a few days of me contacting the company. She was very professional and knowledgeable. She give me competitive quotes on a range of options. My panels were installed within a few weeks. The guys were to come 830am but there at 810am..excellent service. installation was quick and easy. John and Fergal were very tidy. Fergal even vacuumed up dust inside room where John had pulled wires through! John showed me how to work app. From start to finish I found the process very easy. Susie is very approachable and if I have any questions I text her or ring the office. The panels are working really well for me as I used pay between £5 and £10 pounds daily. Since installation 12 days ago I've only spent £7 on electric and I've exported over £20 back to grid. I'm very happy. I have no hesitation in recommending Susie and Start Solar to potential customers. I've already referred 2 customers and they both have agreed to install through Start Solar.

  Just had my new solar system fitted. Fitters arrived when they were meant to and had everything installed, cleaned up and up and running that afternoon. The electrician got my app downloaded and explained everything to me. Great efficient service. Would definitely recommend.

  Start solar installed my solar a year and a half ago. In the beginning my bills were in credit. I only paid my first bill in Feb 2026 and it was £29 for the winter quarter. I highly recommend Andrew and his team, their attention to detail is second to none and Andrew is only ever a phone call away when I have any questions.

  I met Suzie for the first time at an exhibition and was very impressed with her knowledge of her product. Consequently when we were building a new house I had no hesitation in choosing Start Solar. Installation was carried out with no fuss and the engineers had us set up quickly. After 6 months of trouble free solar power I decided to add an additional battery to the system. Once again I received exceptional service from Suzie and her team. I highly recommend Start Solar.
