5Brilliant service. The Plumbers, Scaffolders, Electricians and Solar fitters all worked non stop and all worked together like clockwork. The office staff were also really helpful and prompt with their help. Rubbish still to be collected but booked in for Wednesday! Great job!

1I prefer to leave positive reviews, but this experience needs to be documented clearly for anyone considering works through the ECO4 scheme with LMF Energy Services and RESG. From the outset, there were mistakes, delays, damage, including to irreplaceable 160 yr old slate flagstones. Water leaks, from their faulty cylinder installation, multiple call outs for incorrect settings of the systems, broken pipes flooding under my walls, damage to personal property and poor workmanship. The mistake with the fitting of radiators on to my rubble stone walls ignoring the spec i given to allow me to follow up with lime rendering in the near future was ignored and it has taken nearly 2 years of chasing to get it remedied... thats two years of living in dist and rubble and being unable to finish renovating my home... living in a building site for two years. It aas a simple job, an allowance for internal lime rendering (approx. 50mm minimum) that was clearly specified. Despite this, radiators and pipework were installed without accommodating it, leaving the system incompatible with the necessary finishes and requiring rework. After prolonged delays, I ended up having to remove the radiators myself but couldn not do the pipe work. The delays continued resulting in an entire winter of rubble walls and ZERO heating in an old stone cottage. It was completely uninhabitable. Finally after months mote chasing they have now finally been removed. However, removing the pipework after nearly two years does not undo the damage, cost, or prolonged loss of basic living conditions caused by the original installation. The works have resulted in: Irreparable damage to historic features Ongoing leaks and defective installation Faulty system settings A property left in a disrupted, partially completed state Significant additional costs I have had to relentlessly chase for any response or action over an extended period. Communication has been inconsistent frankly quite surreal and largely reactive, despite repeated, detailed emails. The timeline and impact are severe: Nearly two years of disruption Living in construction dust and an unfinished environment for prolonged periods The property becoming effectively uninhabitable this past winter An entire winter without zero heating I also provided comparative energy bills at their request, clearly showing a significant increase in costs following the installation. This has not been responded to at all. I contacted Lisa Foran directly, having seen that negative public reviews appear to prompt action. Despite this, no meaningful intervention has taken place. Instead of taking responsibility and resolving the situation, I am now being directed towards a mediation service — placing further administrative burden on me while the core issues remain unresolved. There has been: No acknowledgment of the financial impact No recognition of the prolonged disruption and stress This has been an exhausting and deeply disruptive experience, affecting both my home and my day-to-day life over a sustained period. At the time of writing, I am still left dealing with the consequences, with no direct resolution from the contractor. The one star is for some of the labourers and workmen who work well and have to put up with this chaotic, wasteful, unprofessional management team.

5I don't think I have dealt with any other company that has been as good to deal with this one. From the very first encounter through to the finish, everything was handled in a most efficient, speedy and friendly manner. Every detail, from the guys 'on the ground' to the office. And how refreshing to find a customer services department that responded instantly and sorted any queries at speed!

2The installation team, the guys on the front line, were excellent and I’m very happy with the panels themselves — they seem to be performing well. However, the communication and aftercare have been extremely poor. It has now been over 5 months since installation and I am still waiting for the documents needed to register for export payments. The scaffolding is still up at my property as well. I have emailed repeatedly. Lisa did reply once and told me the appropriate team would contact me. I was then given a date — but nobody turned up or followed up. Since then, I’ve had no response at all. Looking at other reviews, it appears this isn’t an isolated case. It feels like the company may have taken on more work than they can handle, and once the installation is done and they’ve been paid, customers are left waiting indefinitely for the essential aftercare. Once the outstanding issues are finally resolved, I will gladly update this review. But right now, the experience after installation has been very disappointing. I don't think I could recommend LMF to anyone going by my experience. I've been forgotten...

2We had our 30 year old heaters replaced and solar panels fitted under the eco4 scheme. LMF were helpful from the start, with good communication. The teams that carried out the work were efficient, polite and quick. Heating installed in a day, solar panels and inverter fitted in a day. They even cleaned up any mess they made! Would highly recommend LMF for your upgrades and installations. As an update(May 2026). We have emailed Lmf several times now, trying to get log in details for the app to monitor the solar panels and also to get the info required to register for a feed in tariff. All emails (so far) have been ignored. We have not heard back from them. The installation team were great, the aftercare is abysmal!

3Installing was excellent. Office staff very hpfull till job finished then nothing. I have been trying to register my panels to receive payments, but all I get is electric bills that have doubled. I had my panels fitted 2022 and l still have not received cheaper bills or any money

1This company sent Marlon to my mother's house to do a quote. She wanted me to see it before signing, and he left, saying he would get an electrical copy sent to me. Nothing happened. So she called up to chase. The lady who answered the phone said it would be looked into, without taking her details, and then hung up. Do better.
