  Brilliant job by Abacus. Mike and Alex managed the process with me quickly and effectively. Sorted the finance out in a few minutes and the installation went perfectly. The guys installing left the garage spotless. Only a couple of days in but already seeing the benefit of the batteries. House and car now running on 3p/kwh instead of 32p. Highly recommended.

  I had a heat pump installed by Abacus year ago. Instalation went sort of ok however I didn't receive much in terms of help or information how to make the system more efficient. I was also strongly discouraged to involve 3rd part company to install full efficiency monitoring system which was a bit strange. Now over a year passed I'm struggling to get service arranged. First contacted Abacus in February it's now May and I'm just being ignored. This could lead to lost of warrenty just because of poor customer service. Regretting ever making business with them.

  Hello Piotr, Thank you for your review and we are sorry to hear you feel this way about the service and options we have already offered. "full efficiency monitoring system" If you can let me know who you have spoken to about the 3rd Party company to install 'full efficiency monitoring system' as I cannot see any emails regarding this as I assume this was on a call. Any additional kit you would like to install is purely at your discretion, we would only give our view point on it as we see it. Would you benefit from the additional cost to have this installed?? Maybe/Maybe not if we have already installed an efficient system, and if you would benefit from this addition by how much, AFTER you have recouped the additional outlay to have installed.?? That would be a question to the provider that is offering this service to you at a cost... If they feel this would add value/savings based on the size of your property and current installation make up then we would hope they can quantify and justify this additional cost to you helping you make a fully informed choice. "struggling to get service arranged" I have taken a look into the correspondence for your Annual Service request and can see we offered a date the first week in April 2026 via email on the 2nd February 2026. The reply from you only came in March 2026 and was unfortunately too late for us to still offer this to you as the diary had been filled and was no longer available. We then offered the 21st April 2026 to which you have replied that this is also not suitable and now you are only available on a Monday or Friday, we will try our best to facilitate this for you and work around your commitments but should you be more flexible with your availability we are sure we could get this in sooner for you. One of the team will reach out to you this week to ensure the reply above was received, to discuss any of the points addressed and also check your availability for future Servicing dates.   Fitted a heat pump for our large 4 bed house and have been servicing it since. Pump was well sized and works well. We don't have any of the issues you read about with water not being hot enough etc. Annual service undertaken with good advice and a friendly team from booking to completion.

  Excellent service. Always helpful and friendly. They have been servicing our heat pump since our installer went out of business. They also moved the heat pump for us as we were having an extension built. A colleague recommended them to me and I feel confident to recommend them to friends who are looking at exploring more sustainable heating/energy options.

  Installation of an EBAC air source heat pump carried out before Christmas. Cost was the same (after the grant applied) as a new gas boiler. No hard sell, kept all the existing radiators (40 years old), which I will replace over next few years anyway. Odd teething issue, which Abacus sorted quickly. A very solid and tidy installation. House is same temperature all day every day, the only other consideration is thinking ahead to boost hot water for a bath as it takes all the hot water in the cylinder but a quick boost resolved that. Happy to recommend Abacus.

  Abacus have now completed an Air source heat pump Installation for me. They installed a Nibe SMO S40. This was complex and was done to replace an existing electric heating system in a stone Barn conversion. It was integrated with the existing under floor heating and radiators system and it is operating exactly as they said it would. The installation engineers arrived on time with all the equipment and completed within the projected time. They were extremely knowledgeable and adaptable and didn’t leave until they were sure it was working perfectly. Abacus dealt with all the necessary paperwork and it all went exactly as planned and on time.
