1Friendly and professional staff. However having paid for a heat loss survey, still no clear quote 8 weeks later. Ceased responding to my emails. Regrettably had to go with alternative installer and wished I’d gone elsewhere sooner.

5Top drawer service and installation of a new domestic heat puimp by all the staff at FinnGeotherm. Their technical and office staff presented a comprehensive technical and economic analysis following a site survey. Their communications was timely and very valuable and the week-long installation process went smoothly with highly competent technicians. Thank you to all.

1This firm spent a significant time trying to fix two underfloor heating loops that weren't working including installing 3 poor quality thermostats, (in 2 different bedrooms and a landing). They still didn't solve the problem? I recently started to research this myself and have spent a lot of time trying different things. I eventually realised one of the valves on the manifold in a hidden loft was turned off completely?! A simple rebalance fixed the problem. The thermostats are a nightmare to programme however and should have never been installed / used? I can't believe two so called expert engineers in a house all day wouldn't have spotted a valve turned down? Now that I know this I decided that they'd be ok to do a simple heat pump annual service and have tried 3 times to get them to call back? Every time a woman answers and says he's on the phone he'll call you back? He never does? I've even said... I've called once / twice etc and he's on the phone. She laughs and says he is again?!! None of this adds up to the kind of people you want to rely on and a shortage of heat pump experts in Norfolk kind of gives you no choice? My advice would be stay clear. Ego's and attitudes at play here :-(

Hi, We're sorry to read that you are unhappy with your experience. To provide some context, we initially assisted with your Viessmann heating system when you struggled to find support elsewhere, including arranging for a replacement manifold to be manufactured and installed in 2024. Following this, we were later asked to investigate an underfloor heating issue. During our attendance, no issue was identified with the manifold and controls we had installed. As referenced in your review, the issue was later found to relate to a separate manifold located within the loft space, which was not known to us during our visit. Regarding service and communication, your calls came during a particularly busy pre-Christmas period when our engineering team was prioritising breakdowns and emergency works. While response times were unfortunately longer than normal, we subsequently attended the property in January. During that visit, we identified that the soft start had failed and arranged for a replacement part for the Viessmann. We always aim to provide honest advice and support to our customers, and we are disappointed to read that you are unhappy with the service received. Finn Geotherm

5I have been very happy with the service I have received. The company responded very quickly on the occasions I had problems and explained everything in as much detail as I wished. Very pleasant, knowledgeable engineers. Recommend highly and thank you.

5The service we received on our Heat Exchanger was neatly and professionally done. The two engineers worked cleanly and quietly. We would highly recommend.

5I was very impressed with Finn Geotherm in their installation of my ashp. From the start, I found all the people I spoke to at Finn Geotherm really helpful and professional - I was never talked down to or blinded by ashp-technical-speak. I know of a few friends who have gone this route of having retro heat pumps fitted and there is not one of them that reports a good experience. The Finn Geotherm people working at my house were all really friendly and polite, respecting that they were in my home. They were confident and knowledgeable in the work they were doing. I was kept informed all the while and they showed great attention to detail, including sending me all the documentation I might ever need, properly recorded and stored. My house now is warm all over and unlike the previous electric boiler, I can afford to run the heating. I am so relieved with this result.

5Even though Finn Geotherm did not install my air source heat pump/boiler system I called them when I had a fault & they took it on and I have received an excellent service every time. Very professional company.

5Highly recommend! I recently moved into my new build property that has an air source heating system. From the minute I moved in the heating wouldn’t work and kept cutting out. The developer didn’t have a clue how it worked and the installers were not interested at all, so being completely stuck I called Panasonic who gave me Finn Geotherm’s number. From start to finish they have been so professional and knowledgeable. It can’t be easy taking over someone else’s installation, but they found the problem, rectified it and it’s now running perfectly. Thank you again.

1My father in law had a system installed by this company that cost almost £30k some years ago. The past few years have been marred with problems. This company has shown no interest in rectifying leaving my father in law without a heating system. From the start the electricity bills have been eye watering, completely unfit for purpose.

5Having just bought a new house, we were conscious that the boiler, although working and serviced every year, could fail anytime. We were also running low on heating oil, so had to make a decision on whether to keep going with the current oil fired boiler and purchase more oil, with the risk that the boiler could potentially die any day, or consider alternatives. Having considered an Air Source Heat Pump and been referred to Finn Geotherm by another company, we absolutely have no regrets over our decision to go with them. Firstly, fantastic comms with Jude who was professional, on time and explained everything when surveying the house. Jude provided a thorough report and at no time did I even think that I was being upsold. Pleasingly, there were no radiator upgrades needed and, in fact, as the house was so well insulated, they reduced the size of the heat pump, saving me money! So trustful for sure. We were very fortunate to have a cancellation, bringing the installation forward by about six weeks. We had daily texts from the team to let us know they were on their way, which was reassuring. Geoff and his colleagues were brilliant. Yes, there was quite a lot of disruption, with carpets needing to be lifted and floor boards cut, which initially was concerning, but when all was done the house was left in such a good condition. My wife was impressed, which says a lot! If anyone said to me, who would you recommend to install an ASHP, I would 100% say Finn Geotherm. Every part of our experience was top notch. I did also look at alternatives, including from our electricity supplier, but their quotes were nowhere near competitive. So we saved money, had a fantastic experience and ow have a lovely, cosy warm home which is costing us about £2 per day to heat. What more could we ask for. Thank you to the whole team. You have all been stars. 🌟
