  Heat Different is well-named because its operation is refreshingly different. From initial contact, thru installation, and commissioning, staff are knowledgable, skilful, respectful, and personable. The company devoted lots of attention to the planning stage, with particular care given to understanding our expectations and requirements. We had a Stiebel Eltron 10.2 Trend plus all new radiators installed in Feb '26 and early results have easily exceeded expectations. Granted the system hasn't been tested yet in a bitter Winter, but the average SCOP so far, including many cold nights and chilly days, is 7.47 for heating and 4.03 for hot water. Our smart meter today - cloudy at 15:00 - shows we've spent £0-52 on incoming electricity since midnight. (We have mains electricity only and solar). For us, a heat pump installation formed a significant long-term investment and complete change to the way we heat our house. Before, we heated selected rooms at certain times. Now we heat the whole house most of the time. We ditched the first MCS-approved heat pump installer we contacted. Some installers still fit low efficiency systems that fail to fully capitalise on the benefits heat pumps can offer. The Heat Different design approach is truly different as the results of our system demonstrate. The company and its work exceeded our expectations and we are most pleased to recommend its services.

  I recently had an air source heat pump replacement for an older failed unit and was also considering other options as the old unit was very expensive to run. I spoke to Craig and found him extremely helpful, knowledgeable and professional. Everyone from the company that were involved has been first class with customer service as a priority. All work was carried out to very high standards and cleanliness maintained throughout.   A-MAZING! One of the very best companies I have ever worked with! From beginning to end completely professional with attention to detail at every point. Great trustworthy engineers who really care about what they do. I replaced my oil boiler with an amazing heat pump (COP > 6!) and really efficient radiators. Our home is super warm for the first time ever 😃. And as for our newly pressurised water system - simply the best showers we have ever taken!   We had our heating system fitted by Heat Different in January and it’s been absolutely fantastic! We bought a renovation project which needed a whole new heating system due to having old storage heaters and after months of research we decided to go with an ASHP from Heat Different. From the very beginning Craig and the team were great. Responding really quickly to our original enquires with answers to all of our questions. Craig then came over to the property to talk about what we would like to achieve and provided us with an in depth heat loss survey after this he then designed a system using a Stiebl Eltron ASHP. Everything was then fitted by Luke and Sammy who carried out an incredibly professional job. Rob then came and wired everything up who again carried out a really professional and neat job. The system itself is working brilliantly, everything had been designed and sized to the highest standard, the radiators and pipework look great, all the pipework in the garage has been insulated to avoid heat loss and the Stiebl app is so easy to use. All of this as resulted in an unbelievably efficient system that we couldn't be happier with. Our house is lovely and warm and the efficiency even on the coldest days is mind blowing. This has reduced the cost of our energy bill massively. We are so pleased we chose to go with heat different. The whole customer experience was stress free and the work carried out was held to the highest standard. These guys are truly the best in their field. A big thank you from us to Heat Different - I would not recommend anyone else!

  We have been considering the idea of installing a heat pump in our home as we are all electric and the boiler was eye-wateringly expensive to run. Following research we decided to use HeatDifferent and from the outset they have been brilliant. Each member of their team is really excellent in their own area of expertise and they work so well as a team. The home has been consistently warm and our heating bills have been cut by 2/3rd plus there was the added bonus of a government grant of £7,500. We would highly recommend HeatDifferent.   A superb, customer-focused, professional, fun, and fast company — 5 stars. We chose Heat Different over several Norfolk-based installers to carry out a full central heating installation in a house with a non-traditional setup. From the outset, their approach stood out. Using only the house sale information, Heat Different swiftly provided an initial budget estimate for us to review. This is where the difference became clear. Craig, the frontman of Heat Different, is 100% customer-focused. His approach was thoughtful and accommodating — even arranging a site visit to my workplace to make things easier for me. The quote was refined through further visits, with clever options like modern twists on standard radiators to maximise usable space. Once we accepted the quote, scheduling was quick and flexible. Unlike smaller outfits, Heat Different has a full team, which meant Allan progressed the project smoothly even while some team members were on holiday. Luke led the installation alongside Samy, and their work was superb — striking the perfect balance between beauty and efficiency. Hidden elements were professionally done, and visible ones were fantastic. We sacrificed some garage space to maximise the house’s layout, and their thoughtful pipework gave the space an “engineering plant room” feel that more than made up for it. Throughout the installation, the team was respectful of the property — a trait sadly missing from many others who’ve worked on the house during its renovation. We also entrusted Heat Different with the groundworks, and Tim took charge of this, expertly handling the base and clearing a root-filled soakaway along the way. In any project, you need to balance budget with trust in the people doing the job. It’s unrealistic to expect a snag-free experience, but the few issues we encountered were handled swiftly and without fuss — a testament to the company’s customer-first ethos. David commissioned the system and provided a thorough explanation of how it works, which was especially helpful given our previous experience with a combi boiler setup. In summary: A great team, customer-focused from start to finish. Based on our experience, I would have no hesitation in recommending Heat Different. It’s easy to see why their office has won recent awards.

  We were keen to see if our property would be suitable for an air source heat pump and we wanted it to be installed by a reputable company with a proven track record and expertise in the field of heat pump installations. On contacting Heat Different, Craig was quick to reply to our enquiry and visit us. We have a solar thermal hot water system which we were keen to retain and we had a few other questions which we wanted to ask Craig about the proposed installation. Craig confirmed that we would be able to integrate the solar thermals into an ASHP system, and also promptly put our minds at rest on all the other questions we had in our minds. In fact, Craig answered our questions before we even got a chance to raise them; we were very impressed. Craig designed the installation for us in a way that we would gain storage inside our home and the ASHP would be installed in a convenient, unobtrusive location in our back garden. We are very happy with the super quiet Stiebel Eltron ASHP, and that we chose Craig and the team at Heat Different to supply and install it for us. As at time of writing we are eager to try out the heating but we will just have to try and be patient and not wish for colder weather too soon. We have every confidence that this winter our home will be warmer and draught free! We’re sure it’s not always easy or simple for the installers to do a retro fit on a domestic property, but Craig and the team did themselves proud.   Thanks to the whole team at Heat Different. The job was completed as agreed and to our satisfaction. A leak did occur during the commissioning process which is likely to have caused considerable delay for other installers. Heat Different resolved this problem with little fuss/mess. All people/companies make mistakes and it is the ability to resolve these to the customers satisfaction that counts. Well done Heat Different! Although the system is not yet being used for heating due to the weather we have every confidence that during the next cold spell it will perform as designed.

  Heat Different were quick to respond to my initial enquiry and came out for a visit. We were looking at replacing our LPG boiler with an air source heat pump under the Boiler upgrade scheme grant (BUS grant). During the visit, a lot of questions were answered. Heat Different provided us with two options, one for a Viessman ASHP and the other for a Steibel Eltron ASHP. We decided to go for a Viessman Vitocal 150-A. Heat Different kept us up to date with the process of our order, grant application and DNO notification. All went very smoothly. Installation went ahead on the date agreed. The team were professional, tidy and accommodating. Good quality materials used. Installation and commissioning were completed in 4 days. Very happy with the result and would recommend Heat Different to friends and family. We are glad we chose a local company who have lots of experience with heat pump installations.
