  We recently had Alba Heat and Power install a Tesla Powerwall and expansion pack and 20 Aiko 480W all black solar panels to our house. Right from the first contact Alba Heat and Power have been very professional. They were happy to answer any questions I had after receiving the initial quote. They have dealt with all the paperwork for the G99 application to the DNO and all MCS paperwork after install was also comprehensive. Euan and Darren were really great – friendly, reliable and knowledgeable. They all just got on with the job in a very efficient way, meaning it was quite painless and completed in 2 days. Really grateful to the consideration that they gave to the cable run from the Powerwall to the Gateway in the hall cupboard. They have managed to run the cable through external walls, along the skirting boards through internal cupboards so that it is not visible. Really excellent, neat work. Both the electricians and the roofers were happy to answer any questions I had which was much appreciated. Handover was also painless. Euan explained all the controls (emergency switch off) and took me through the Tesla app set up. Happy to recommend Alba Heat and Power to anyone considering a solar and battery installation. A company who, I think, really cares about the quality of their work.

  We recently had a solar and battery system installed by Alba Heat and Power and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. The workmanship and attention to detail were outstanding, and everything was completed professionally and to a very high standard. The team were friendly, reliable, and clearly very knowledgeable. They kept us informed throughout the installation and took the time to explain how the system worked and answer any questions we had. The install itself was extremely neat and tidy, and you can tell they genuinely care about the quality of their work. I would highly recommend Alba Heat and Power to anyone considering a solar and battery installation. Fantastic service all round.

  A really good experience from quote to installation. Any questions at the quote stage or prior to final installation were answered quickly and clearly. The teams for the Solar and Battery/electrics turned up exactly when promised. Excellent quality of installation and all working areas were left tidy at the end of each day. Would not hesitate to recommend Alba Heat and Power to anyone considering a Solar and battery installation. In our case we have not used any mains electricity since it was all installed and it looks like the best home improvement we have ever made.

  Really good company to deal with. They have installed solar and battery for me here in Edinburgh and the job was done really professionally and quickly. Euan and Darren were most excellent getting my 12 panels and battery installed, they never stopped working till the job was completed. Whilst Alba were not the cheapest quote I obtained the others did not convince me that they could be relied on (big national suppliers using hired local tradesman). I was looking for a local Scottish installer that could be depended on and Alba heat and power ticked all the boxes. I would recommend Alba to anyone looking for a good price and a reliable company to deal with. Many thanks again guys, top job !!

  The Team at Alba Heat & Power have been excellent across all aspects & delivery of this installation. Communication has been good with details & explanations clearly presented. The underground cable installation was second to none, you wouldn't know the driveway setts had been up. Cable runs are tidy, & the panels have been fitted so that they appear discretely rather than in your face. System is operating well with (so far) no requirement to require assistance. Can't recommend them highly enough.

  Alba were very helpful and approachable from initial enquiry right through to installation of my home battery system. Queries were dealt with quickly and efficiently including some very prompt remote troubleshooting of the software just after installation. On the whole I felt valued as a customer, just as it should be with a family owned independent installer. Something that is often missing from the larger operations.

  We recently commissioned Alba Heat & Power to install solar PV panels and a battery storage system at our Scout Hall. From the initial consultation through to the final installation, Alba exceeded our expectations - the team were very professional, knowledgeable and joy to work with. Communication was clear, everyone arrived on time and the site was left spotless following the installation. The panels look great and we're already noticing a difference in the amount of electricity required from the grid despite the weather not being that good.
