  So glad I met Mike and Alister at Peebles Agricultural Show in August 2025. Having thought about installing solar panels and batteries for a while, Energy Source (UK) were the first of the quotes we received and it quickly became apparent that the system (panels and batteries) they were offering was vastly superior to the other quotes received and at a very competitive price with no hard sell involved. Both Mike and Alistair answered all my questions patiently both before and after having the system installed, turned up when they said they would, worked tidily and were very professional. Very happy with the workmanship, service and price... now looking forward to enjoying the much lower electricity bills for many years. 100% recommended

  What can I say about these two guys, the list is endless. They have beared with our battery issue for so long they feel like family! Pylontech did not make anything easy from accepting it was they're tech causing the faults to diagnosing and accepting responsibility and eventually replacing batteries. Mike and Alistair took every step to fix our issues, from diagnostics to solving the problem and kept us in the loop every step of the way. This situation has gone on since the summer of 23, the time they have put in as well as the support and guidance they gave us is unfathomable! We now have a 2 brand new fully functioning batteries and a very happy solar system. These guys went above and beyond and Pylontech did not make it easy. These are the guys you want installing you systems, their customer service is second to none! 10 star service!

  Our Solar PV and battery storage system was installed quickly, efficiently and to a very high standard. Mike & Alister are highly professional, knowledgeable, and really friendly. They were very neat & tidy, turned up when they said they would, worked to time and budget (despite inclement weather), and were easy going and flexible around changes and additions. We chose Energy Source Ltd due to recommendations from 2 other customers, their competitive pricing and no hard-sell.   Trouble-free installation of solar panels. Mike and Ali were great; turned up every day when they said they would and worked tirelessly for 4 days to complete the job (despite some awful weather on the first day). Both of them were friendly and kept us informed with how the installation was going. When we approached Energy Source for a quote, they responded quickly and came out to see the house so they could design a system that would work for our very unusually configured roof. Once the system was in, they walked us through how it all works and how to make best use of it. We're really pleased with the end result, and would very much recommend Energy Source (UK) if you're considering solar panels.
