  Exceptional local company. I had quotes from 3 other companies (all national) but decided to go local, and glad I did. Lakes Solar listened to what I wanted and the system I got is better specification than the other quotes, and really competitive. The fitters really know their stuff. All running really well, better than expected. Would highly recommend.

  Professional company, easy to contact, arrive on time and the equipment installed is done using thier own people rather than sub contractors. The panels and batteries are good quality and perfom well.

  I'm really glad I found Lakes Solar to do my PV install. First of all, their guys were hugely competent, friendly and professional. I was building a new roof and they were happy to install the trays very quickly for me. The whole process went smoothly and I paid a fair price for quality products and workmanship. Highly recommended

  Great service; quick response for a survey. Agreed install date, fitter arrived and carried out all work in a neat & tidy fashion. Sorted out App and minor problems in my own domestic wiring.Very satisfied and glad I chose a local firm.

  Great service and price. All the staff that I have had to deal with from Darren in Sales to Jo who fitted system and even the scaffolders that they use are excellent as is the standard of workmanship. Could not recommend highly enough. Fitted yesterday and at 6.30 this morning had a power cut. Unfortunately not enough power in battery to trigger Gateway as it had not had enough time to charge but this morning,despite being foggy,as soon as we had daylight, enough power in battery to trigger Gateway an we had electricity from 9.30 whereas our neighbours had to wait for grid to be back on at 12.00. Get the gateway if you are in danger of power cuts. And this from a crotchety 80 year old who is hard to please and does not understand tech.

  We have been beyond impressed with our solar installation. From our initial enquiry which was answered and quoted for within half an hour by Darren, through to the survey with Elliot and installation by Joe, the whole team were super responsive and knowledgeable and answered any questions we had. The quote was very reasonable, and we’re already delighted with the results even at the start of spring! I could not recommend the Lakes Solar team more for any solar works, they were superb from start to finish.
