5Called these guys remove and replace my solar panels when I had to replace my roof following a leak. Also added a battery to the system which has proved an excellent idea. Great advice and service.

5Princes LHS fitted my solar panels and battery storage. They organised everything very efficiently and the job is exceptionally neat. The battery is in a garage which is remote from the house and there are no visible cables on our property. Big thank you to Josh who has always been very helpful particularly when we had a glitch with the battery software. Could definitely recommend this company.

5As Early Adopters with electric car. Found them to be a Brilliant company…..Initially they supplied and fitted my RED 16kW Heat pump and Water system then Tesla battery followed by 21 Solar panels. Great installation with hidden wiring inside so all looks clean and smooth and all working very well. Making big savings with Octopus Energy as our supplier

5Choosng Princes LHS Ltd to install my solar system was the best finacial decision I have made in many years. From the moment I contacted them until the moment the installation was completed they were highly professional - efficient, responsive, tidy and competitive. I subsequently used them to uprate my system with a battery which allowed me to change my car to a PHEV vehicle and I now run my car for free for 90% of the time. My excess generation re- exported to my supplier exactly paid my central heating oil bill for a full 12 months - another massive saving. In summary thanks to Princes LHS Ltd we now have free electricity for all our household needs plus free motoring "fuel" costs.

5The installation of our Powerwall 3 plus Expansion Kit took just a day from placing the order. The electrical work needed to install the batteries and to connect them to an existing Tesla Gateway took just a couple of hours. The electrician was able to use existing wiring to establish a data link between the Powerwall 3 and the Gateway negating the need for remote metering. Since installation, we have experienced some configuration issues resulting in some odd data flows. Princes LHS has been proactive in getting Tesla Support to resolve these issues, and the installed system now seems to be working as advertised. We are more than happy to recommend Princes LHS to anyone thinking of going down the Tesla Powerwall installation route.

1I have interacted with this company on two occasions, and each time the experience has been extremely frustrating and entirely negative. Each contact was regarding a quote for remedial work regarding an existing heat pump and solar panel system. I was very clear that this was a system installed by a different company and on each occasion I was told that they would definitely be able to help and were interested in providing a quote. I was asked to submit large amounts of information and documents about the system, which I did. I was assured that I would be contacted as soon as possible. On each occasion I never heard back and contacted the company repeatedly, only to be told that someone "would get back to me if not today then tomorrow", that "the IT system was down" and series of other varied excuses. After weeks of chasing them on each occasion I was then finally told that they were not interested in providing a quote, on the first occasion because they were unable to quote and would charge on a day rate only and on the second occasion because a different company had provided the initial installation and they could therefore not offer to quote for remedial work. As mentioned above, this was despite very clearly stating at the time of each initial enquiry that they would certainly be able to help and we're interested in doing so having been provided with the full details. Unfortunately this paints a very clear picture of lack of professionalism and lack of professional honesty. Edit - while I appreciate the company's reply, it is very misleading. They did not "communicate their decision clearly" - I had to contact them repeatedly over weeks and was continuously told that they would revert to me "today" or "tomorrow", which they never did. It was only after weeks of polite enquiries that I was then suddenly confronted with an unexpected refusal. They never contacted me of their own accord. To constantly reassure a customer that you would assist them and revert to them for weeks, only to then decline to do so without communicating this directly remains, in my view, a clear example of professional dishonesty. This is compounded by an intimidating email I received after first posting this review - which was, in fact, the first direct communication I received from Princes LHS after chasing them for weeks for a reply to my enquiries. There are several other reviews of a similar nature. A professional attitude would have led this company to apologise and change their practice - the fact that they have not says more about them then they are probably willing to realise.

Dear Ulrich, Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. To clarify the sequence of events: you first contacted us in 2022 regarding a quotation for an air source heat pump installation, but ultimately chose to proceed with a company based in Yorkshire. In May 2025, you contacted us again and we provided you with a formal quotation for a new solar PV system, which you also elected to have installed by the same Yorkshire-based company. On the two more recent occasions when you approached us about remedial works to the heat pump and solar PV system originally installed by the Yorkshire company, we engaged with you and carefully reviewed the extensive technical documentation and reports you supplied (including the assessment carried out by a Shropshire-based firm). After thorough consideration, we concluded that undertaking remedial works on a third-party installation — particularly one with the significant issues identified — would not be a prudent business decision. We initially expressed willingness to assist based on our telephone conversation. However, once we had reviewed the full details in the reports, it became clear that we could not provide a fixed-price quotation due to the extent of the unknown factors and potential liabilities. We therefore advised you that we could attend on an hourly rate basis, but you indicated a preference for a fixed quote. As a result, we explained that we were not best placed to take on the work and communicated this directly to you. The issues you describe — rapid cycling, sensor placement, wiring standards, shading on the solar array, missing documentation and so on — all stem from the original installation. We believe the installing company remains the most appropriate party to address these matters under their workmanship warranty. We do not accept the characterisation of dishonesty and stand by the professional manner in which we handled your enquiries. We always aim to assist where we can, but we must make responsible decisions regarding the work we undertake. Should you require a completely new installation in the future, we would be happy to provide a quotation. Kind Regards, Princes LHS Ltd
