  I needed a substantial domestic solar/battery system and approached 3 large well known companies, 2 small, and Cavill & Co .- a medium sized business. Cavill & Co quoted the best price of all with the same high quality components as their bigger rivals. Every one of their staff has been highly professional and extremely helpful. The work was done on time and no mess was left behind. If only every successful business operated this way, life would be sweeter.

  Really pleased with the installation of my solar and batteries. I also needed additional electrical works done including moving the distribution board and the incoming meter, which Mark handled seamlessly, liaising direct with SSEN on my behalf when needed. We were happy to remain flexible on the final specification to get the most out of the available space and resources during the installation, and even my last minute decision to increase in battery capacity wasn’t an issue. This approach may not suit someone who likes the i's dotted and t’s crossed before the works start, but it panned out well for me. The neatness of the installation is first-class, with everything laid out logically and well labelled. It was also great to use and support a local firm.

  Did research beforehand and identified 3 potential suppliers. I chose M G Cavill because they have a good reputation, are local to me for support and the quote was clear and fair. The whole team are excellent and very knowledgeable, answering every question clearly and in detail. The actual installation was quick and very neat and tidy. Now enjoying substantial savings on my electricity!

  Excellent service from MG Cavill, their initial advice on our solar requirements was not what I had originally planned for but absolutely the right approach. Their engineers were first rate in the quality of their work and particularly their flexibility in adapting the installation to our specific requirements. We are very pleased with the final result coming in at a reasonable price given the amount of work involved. Overall, I would thoroughly recommend MG Cavill for any Solar or other electrical work.

  Mark and his team did an excellent job in re-tiling my garage extension, installing in-built solar panels, batteries, a car charger and refurbishing some of the electrics in the house - thank you. Highly recommended.

  Me and my wife recently moved to a new property with a solar panel system. We had to fix our roof which involved the removal and reinstallation of our solar array. We quickly found out that the company that installed this set up in the first place did a very poor job indeed: using the incorrect brackets on the roof, cabling loosely hung over the house and at times in the gutter, incorrect cabling and many other issues and problems. This “quality install” made a lot of sense as to why the company no longer exists! We wanted to bring in local professionals with a good reputation to help with solar install. Mark and his team from MG Cavil &. Co were incredibly professional and helpful with the whole process. Mark offering up some great experience and insights around solar systems that we have little knowledge on. His team were also very knowledgeable and efficient, helping to remove our panels initially and when the roof was completed, a full reinstall. The reinstall was delivered to a very high quality finish, with new brackets, new cables and a significantly improved cable management. It looked like a brand new install by the time they were finished. With everything tested and working perfectly, we couldn’t be happier with the work carried out and we highly recommend MG Cavil &. Co (specially to our friends and family). When we look to expand our solar system we will also be returning to Mark and his team.

  As I considered getting a solar install I requested quotes from three companies. Mark came out to see me almost immediately, talked me through what is involved and how to plan a suitable install. The knowledge and level of detail was superb and I confidently booked his team in for the install. Mark dealt with the applications required, had scaffolders come and set up well in advance of the start date and then his team arrived. Ultra professional, just got on with the install and I'm blown away by the quality of the set up they've delivered for us. I'm fascinated by the analytics we are getting through the GivEnergy system that Mark's team has set up for us and very much looking forward to our first negative bill - just wish the clouds would go away! Couldn't recommend MG Cavill & Co more. If you're after a solar set up make sure you speak with Mark!

  Solar installation - would highly recommend mark and his team. Excellent communication from start to finish; engineers clearly care about their work and went the extra mile to provide a high quality installation. Provided demonstration of their product, cleared up after themselves. All very friendly, felt safe in their hands!
