  Techfor Energy, and specifically Glenn Ashby has been my go to expert on all issues renewable energy over the last 10 years. He still picks up the phone and instantly answers my queries! He has an encyclopaedic knowledge and is always happy to share his advice and experiences. Initially fitting my first roof array in 2016, and then adding to it a further 5 panels and a Tesla battery, all his and his teams’ work has been totally reliable, on time and has served my requirements perfectly. Glen really takes a genuine interest in all his projects and ensures his customers always comes first. As a result of my recommendation, he has also fitted a full array and two Tesla batteries to my son in law’s house in Surrey, and also a full array and Tesla battery to a friend’s farmhouse in Berkshire. So, in summary, Techfor Energy is a brilliant company that you can genuinely trust, strongly led by Glenn Ashby. He will always give you balanced, well considered advice on all renewable energy issues and take the time to walk you through the sometimes complex software and apps. As I say, a true professional and always ready to help.

  Glenn Ashby from Techfor Energy has been excellent at providing the sort of professional, best in class aftercare service that you would expect to see from Rolls Royce. They installed our solar panels and battery over fours ago. We haven't had a single issue or fault with any of the equipment. they have been perfect. Even four years on, Glenn continues to provide fantastic service by guiding and supporting us in identifying the best tariffs for our system and ensuring we have the most competitive deals in the market.   We recently had a solar and battery installation by the Techfor Energy team. It was an excellent experience, the communication beforehand and throughout was great, the installers were very courteous and friendly and the whole process was efficient with the final result being very neat and of high quality. Since installation if we have had any questions or issues the Techfor Energy team led by Glenn have been prompt and super helpful. Recommended!

  If you decide you want to go ahead and install solar panels, batteries or an EV charger, then I recommend Techfor Energy: The benefits Techfor Energy can provide are: 1. A very professional survey before you commit to anything. 2. Very skilled tradesmen – roofers, electricians, technical sales, all of which are difficult to beat. My experience with other solar panel installers was almost comical – when I compared surveys there was no comparison. One salesman from another company turned up and told me they would put panels on the roof at the rear of the house, told me to come and view their show house and that was it. With Glenn from Techfor Energy you get the company owner turning up to help you make the most of your property. For me that meant putting the most productive panels on my side roof as it was South facing. He photographed my roof and we discussed panels and inverters. He referenced results for panels installed in a field in Germany so that he could advise on yields and longevity of panels. Oh, and do you want a micro-inverter on every panel (changes DC to AC electricity). I invested in solar panels in 2018 and asked that the panels generate more electricity in a year than the house consumed. I was “quids in” when electricity prices spiked at the start of the Ukraine war. This year I have invested in solar batteries and an EV charger. I am now for all intents and purposes off grid until the end of the summer. Thanks to Glenn recommending that I switch to Utilities Warehouse, my off peak electricity over the winter will be under 6p per kwh, and I will avoid paying the peak rate all winter too. I plan to buy an electric vehicle to help redeem the cost of the solar batteries and charger – it should take 7 to 8 years, taking account of electric tariff benefits and the fact that I no longer require petrol from the pumps. I assume most of my miles in the EV will use the home charger. All that and the feeling that you are helping the planet too – get your warm feeling with Techfor Energy, like me. It’s a lot of money to spend, so avoid a bad installation. I have now used Techfor Energy twice, so I can recommend Glenn and his team. They do commercial property installations too.

  Techfor Energy (TE) installed our 14 solar PV panels 12 years ago. The panels have served us well and saved us money. This Summer TE have installed a solar battery and expansion pack, which are working well so far and saving us more money. TE provided clear advice and paperwork, speedy on time service and efficient, polite installation team.

  Thanks for your comments Don :) Solar and battery storage are made for each other and when combined with a cheap off peak grid tariff , the right sized system can reduce demand for expensive daytime grid energy by over 90% for the year 🏆 We look forward to your system achieving this for you 😀

  Overall Techfor Energy managed the design and installation of our 8Kw solar + battery system very professionally and the installation team were very pleasant, quick, helpful and extremely tidy. The system has been running smoothly for several months with no issues and the expected performance. Highly recommended.

  We selected Techfor Energy having looked at a few suppliers as it was clear they knew exactly what they were talking about. The pre-contract survey was incredibly detailed and resulted in the design of the perfect system for what we wanted. They are absolutely not the cheapest solution but we have total confidence the extra cost was a worthwhile investment in system quality, the quality of the installation work and the after-sales support. The selection of Tesla for the battery storage caused us some unexpected delays in delivery but the solar panel installation was very efficient. Would totally recommend Techfor Energy !

  We had a roof array install as well as a car charger and tesla battery+dc expansion fitted. The team who came were really friendly and easy to have around. The team at our house and those we communicated with by email ensured regular communication, which was really helpful. We had an issue setting up our export tarrif with our energy provider, and Oscar was especially helpful ensuring we had all we needed to get our tarrif set up. The product/apps are great, my techy husband is especially pleased with the end result. 10/10 would recommend. Great install by great team of great system.

  Glen and his technical team were able to come up with an innovative battery and panel solution to a complex & challenging project. They remained very supportive technically with flexibility over an extended period in the quotation stage while we worked with the necessary authorities and other stakeholders for the required approvals.

  Thanks for your feedback Richard. Installing the solar parallel to a slope seems to be something only we can do :) I'm also very pleased with the enclosure for your batteries, with space for expansion packs later if needed. That's 2 powerfull systems you have there! Happy generation :)
