  I've just had both my bathroom and kitchen completed by A & J Keith (on behalf of Newcastle City Council) Bathroom was done 1st. The liason person was Jade and I was kept fully informed from start to finish. Jade was hugely helpful, professional and absolutely nothing was a bother for her to check or correct for me. A genuine asset to the company! The various workmen in and out were also fantastic, polite, professional and did an amazing job. Absolutely thrilled with the bathroom! Unfortunately, the kitchen install didn't run as smoothly. The designer didn't turn up twice, so I called to complain. The 3rd time he was late and I'd had no call or text, although he did eventually show up and he was clearly in a very bad mood. He did the design very quickly as he evidently wanted to leave asap. He made a huge error with a part of the kitchen design we would later have to change, again, causing inconvenience to not only myself, but other tradesmen working for the company. Not at all friendly and made to feel like I was really putting him out. Before the kitchen install date, I recieved 2 seperate calls telling me they had a start date for the kitchen (which i explained twice i already had a start date) so communication at the office is exceptionally poor and mismanaged. Despite the demo going quite smoothly, my front door had taken a battering from the various items being brought out. Deep scratches and a decent sized gouge. I raised this with Claire (kitchen liason) who said she would send the photos to management. (Still waiting to hear back from anyone about this) Someone called to check the gas meter after demo, despite me not being told this, so I hadn't had a chance to empty the cupboard the meter is in. It's a huge cupboard so I'd need time and notice to do so. He offered to come back the next morning provided I empty the large cupboard. I did exactly that. Nobody turned up the next day, so I called Claire (kitchen liason) and asked if anyone was going to show up. She informed me the gas check had been done and signed off. It had not been. I mentioned I was unhappy about the lack of communication, the effort i'd gone to and the wasted day waiting around for nothing. She apologised. An electrician was called to install an extra socket (due to the kitchen designer messing up original design) which was promptly done, but not done correctly. The socket being on the same wall as my house alarm, my alarm went off in the middle of the night and because the battery had been drained, could not be turned off. Had to wait up all night for my alarm company to come and fix it. The next morning, the guy from the alarm company came out to fix my alarm and also fixed the socket that the electrician from A & J Keith hadn't earthed correctly. Mentioned this to Claire (kitchen liason) however, wasn't acknowledged. The other electrician, plasterers (one of which has an incredible singing voice) painters and kitchen fitters etc were all fantastic. Really very clearly good at what they do and take pride in their work. Can't thank them enough! The guys doing the screeding, despite being very friendly, managed to splash screed material all up my new cabinet doors and drawers. Again, I showed Claire (kitchen liason) in person, which she spotted right away and said she would get someone straight out to remove it properly. This never happened. I had to ask to rearrange the final sign off of the kitchen due to another matter. Spoke via text but hadn't heard anything back. I've been ringing every day for a full week now and each time told someone would call me back that same day. It's been a full week and no calls. I have a feeling they have signed the kitchen off without my signature or finishing the snagging list so are now deliberately ignoring me. So disappointed as I absolutely adore the new bathroom and kitchen but the communication from the kitchen department at the office is shockingly poor. It really needs looked at by management. A family member of mine is currently having a nightmare with the kitchen department, designer no-show etc

  Well I can only say this company is only getting these stars because of LIAM he has been absolutely great don’t just want to go with all the bad but I have to shout out to Liam as I don’t think my issues would of been resolved if it wasnt for Liam he was helpful and understanding and always answered my calls and complaints and dealt with them like a company should I have had issues with the plastering and electricians but like I say not to go with all the bad I think Liam deserves a compliment well done to LIAM 👏

  Electrican came to install a new board/fuse box. Electrical solutions on behalf of gateshead council. Electrican was very polite and professional.no messing about straight on with the job completed within a few hours everything perfect left my place tidy could not fault the work Highly recommended

  Got a call after my electric check making sure that everything was okay 👍🏻 normally wouldn’t leave a review but loved the communication and after care

  Any issues are quickly addressed , thanks to Claire she is on the ball! Painter and plaster are a credit and a real asset to the company . Flooring company rather miserable and abrupt but that’s their issue ! Very quick to address issues and very easy to contact . I would absolutely recommend the company . Liam very engaging and nice natured !

  Appointed to fix a loose bath handle Left with a hole in the wall, 3 damaged wall panels, an unsealed & unusable bath and no effort to tidy up the mess they left
